Question: Which loss is tougher to swallow?

AU 2010 or LSU 2011?

For me, it's gotta be last night. I had been looking forward to this game all season, and I expected to win. The AU loss was tough too, but it didn't feel like it meant as much, at least to me anyways.

Last night, for sure. It probably cost us an SEC and National Title, and that (above all else) is what we play for at Bama.

Last night, and it isn't even close. Yesterday's loss, in all likelihood, cost Bama a championship. No matter how much we dislike Auburn, beating them can't become more important than winning championships.

Well when it comes to what was at stake I must say last night was tougher...But let me add I will never get over those auburn cows singing their version of rammer jammer in our stadium....

For me, to be up 24-0 at home to your in-state, heated rival . . . and LOSE . . . that's tougher to swallow.

There's no shame in losing 9-6 in OT in game that was hyped as the game of the century.

Hurts to know that we should have won; but not nearly as bad as having to live down one of the biggest choke jobs of all time.

that's a tough one, but i'm going with last night. last year vs barn was very embarrassing, but not as much was on the line. also last year vs barn was one year ago. last night's loss was one day ago. i would be much better suited to answer this question in 2 years. they say time heals all wounds...

Last night's loss for me was the toughest. We have had such a great season all year long. The team has so many great seniors playing now that we will lose. Last year we had already lost two games before Auburn. I previously had visions of a National Championship game dancing through my head this season, but sadly no longer.

the Barn last year for me big time, dont want this to come across wrong but last year I do not think we got the teams best effort, they just gave up but this years I think they gave LSU all they had, you can not ask for more than that.

*U loss last year was most horrible! We choked. Last night was a great effort with some mistakes against No. 1. It is disappointing but we are still BAMA and anyone who isn't wishes they were! We'll be fine. This team is great and still growing! It's going to be fun watching the players for years to come at the college and pro levels.

I hate ND. I hate "Luck of the Irish". I hate their stupid leprechaun mascot. I hate their gold helmets. I hate their gold helmets even worse when they put a stupid looking clover on it. I hated listening to Alabama games with Ara P. as a commentator. (Thank God for John and radio)

I hate ND so bad I pulled for Tennessee in their bowl game. I might consider pulling for Auburn if they were to play each other.

Last night. To have the championship be decided on your home field, and lose, that's tough to live down.

Last year against the barn was a choke job, no doubt, but it was typical of last year's team.

The way the AU game played out last year was a lot worse, but I like to think that (at Alabama) we aim for championships first and foremost and we likely lost both an SEC and a National Title last night. That wasn't at stake in the Iron Bowl last year.

The Auburn loss made me physically ill. Last night, a hard fought game, was a little easier to swallow.

Looking forward to Nov. 26 and the team fulfilling their "Never Again" season focus!

IMO, LSU11 is a better team than Aub10. At least last night we didn't look foolish after the game was over for blowing a huge lead even though last night meant more.
