FSU all the way, but I will pretend to all the cow college worshippers that I am one of those SEC fans who wants them to win in order to keep the streak going. Then if they lose, I could them blame them for ending the streak. I will feign remorse but then shut my office door and celebrate by doing my Carlton dance!
This is exactly how I feel! I forgot about the Carlton dance, though. Thanks for the reminder!!

This is my first post here, and I know many will not like what I have to say but here goes.

I actually liked FSU midway through the season, Winston was incredible. But I think he's guilty and the cover up just turns my stomach. I can't get behind FSU now. My football allegiance has always been with BAMA but I also feel it is important to support the conference. I'll be holding my nose, but I think the barn wins by 2 TD's.

I'll pull for the conference to win another title and a team from our state to win the past five national titles. Hopefully next year we will win number 6 in a row.

I missed that game....Ticks me off..

You should be happy Auburn won....They are from your state and the state gets alot of talking and advertising for it.
I'm glad Auburn won instead of them dang confederates.

Can't think of a better or more deserving team to blow the SEC streak of national championships than the barn. It will be fitting. Go Noles.

West Georgia is not part of Alabama.

I haven't read through the entire thread but I've finally figured out what I want to happen.

I want an ugly game with lots of turnovers - by both teams - and a surprisingly low score, like 17-16. I want Winston to play the worst game of his life. I want the 'Noles to get at least five or six crazy-lucky breaks during the game, including one on a fluke play to win the game by one point - perhaps a game-winning field goal that FSU misses which is called good and "stands" upon review. I want the officiating to be generally inept, with three or four calls/no-calls at the end of the game during the deciding drive to be so badly in favor of FSU that people start calling for the officials' bank statements.

That way, everyone in the country will feel that even though FSU won the game they didn't deserve the Championship. The barners will be left wondering "what if?", blaming the REC for paying off the refs, and trying to figure out a way to get another "Peoples' National Championship" Trophy. Meanwhile, after Alabama makes Oklahoma look like a high-school team, everyone in the country will be wondering whether (or secretly believing that) Alabama really should have been National Champions this year - even with the loss - and possibly wishing that Alabama had been given another "do-over" after the loss to the barn.

And, hey - while we're at it - perhaps the AP voters would be so impressed with our win in the Sugar Bowl, so disgusted by the BCS National Championship Game, and itching enough to get one last jab in while their vote still means something to send the BCS out with the very thing it was designed to prevent: a controversial, split National Championship.

My dad is a casual Alabama fan but also enjoys watching Auburn. I know he will cheer for Auburn.

I will not.

I can root for any SEC team in the title game except for the Auburn and UT.

I can't root for Auburn. I didn't root for them in 2010 and I definitely am not going to start now. In fact, I switched and started rooting for OSU on Saturday once it became apparent that Duke wasn't going to win.

:) I have a much greater knowledge of Soccer than American football but I think the comparison stands, I can think of no set of fans/supporters in soccer who would want their local rivals to win regardless of any benefits that would come to them, their city or their country by way of their fiercest rivals winning a major trophy.

That's exactly what started to do. Oh well. When you're counting on Duke to beat FSU in football, you know you're in a tight spot.

I tried. I really did. I know that there are good reasons to pull for the Barn in this game. Keeping the SEC dominance, keeping the crystal football in Alabama for five straight years, Gus seems to be an OK guy whose only vice seems to be an addiction to bubble gum. And the fact that Auburn fans are our neighbors, relatives, and sometimes friends and even spouses in this little state.

But, try as I might I cannot make myself do it. I would pull for Hades State against Auburn, even if old Lucifer himself was the starting QB for H State.

Go Noles!

The winner should get a recruiting boost and since both are rivals go with the team you dislike the most. Auburn hands down. FSU pl;ayed a weak schedule, but unlike OS, they destroyed the competition and see them beating Auburn by 10+...........like we should have. Just wasn't our day.
