I don't know if I can go this far on Ingram, however, he reminds me of a smaller Earl Campbell. Ingram runs with passion, speed, quickness, and toughness. I know it was one game, but he gets me excited about our running game again, like old times!

I agree with the previous poster.
Without a doubt, Mark Ingram reminds me of Emmitt Smith.
Not only do they have a similar build, around 5-10, 215, but Mark share's Emmitt's #22.
The way he sheds tacklers and can gain the tough yards, as well as make it around the end, remind me so much of the former U of F and Dallas Cowboys' star
In addition to his running style, he also has a burst of speed similar to that of Mr. Smith.

He reminds me of... Mark Ingram.

Let's allow him to create his own legacy. While it's flattering to compare him to the likes of Smith, the way Ingram runs, he's bound to create his own legendary runs.

And why not? He already did in week 1.

He's an Emmitt Smith clone. Nothing wrong with that.

While we're at it, Julio Jones reminds me of Randy Moss and Terrance Cody reminds me of William Perry. :D

When I first saw the #22, I jokingly said "This freshman better be good if he is going to wear Johnny Musso's number"!

I wasn't disappointed.

Modern era...maybe a Terrell Davis...

Very workmanlike, hard-nosed, gets the job done. North-south runner, but still pretty quick feet. Very good hands and excellent blocker.
