Who has had the ugliest uniforms so far this year?

After last night, we can probably close this thread. Maryland wins that title in a monumental land slide.

The great part about all this is that the same bunch that did Maryland's atrocity also makes agbarn's uniforms. Please God let them totally mess with the barn's uniforms!!!!

Georgia's were so bad they hurt my eyes, really. Maryland's on the other hand were so strange that they were amusing. Georgia by a mile!

Didn't get to see Maryland's last night, but if they were any worse than UGA, then they must be absolutely turrible! My wife said Georgia players looked like a bunch of devils running around out there!

I was watching an old Star Wars movie this weekend, with the horned guy all black/red...reminded me of GA last night. However, those maryland unis were as bad as it gets.

Anyone remember the Shaun Alexander Bama dream uniform that he described while here? Seemed like it had pink in it, maybe the shoes. If made, it would have been the ugliest uniform ever unleashed, I do remember that

Maryland, closely followed by UGA and Oregon in third. All three are seriously ugly.

If you just tell yourself that Maryland is a bipolar team, the uniform works in a bizarre fashion.

Georgia's were just ugly, made even worse because they replaced a classic uniform.

I thought both were equally ugly but Maryland's unis looked like they were designed by Christopher from "Project Runway." Football jocks should not play dress up.

maryland. Reminded me of a cross between a crash test dummy and a rodeo clown. Georgia's unis were bad enough and looked like power rangers meets transformers.

They probably will do something to their unis one day.

I did notice they changed the stripe on the pant legs a little from last year, and the names on the back of the jerseys are a lot smaller font than last year.

I have no issue with UGA's unis. Their helmets were incredible. The red may have been TOO red, and they may have looked like an Arena team, but at least the helmets worked. Maryland on the other hand, had NO redeeming qualities about their attire

Like others, I had GA running away w/ the title; then came last night's game. As one of the SI-west bloggers wrote about the Twerps' look: "Things you never expect to hear: Oregon's team going 'those unis are awful! What happened to tradition?'" :biggrin:

I hope Alabama and Penn State never change.

It did look like Bama had larger numbers on the back of their jerseys in the Kent State game. Was that just the bad TV reception?

I think the Auburn folks are actually as zealous as we are about keeping the uniforms traditional. Doubt we'll ever see anything like that down there. There were rumors tossed around last season about blue helments, and this past summer about blue pants. There was an extremely negative backlash in both cases, if I recall correctly.
