Lol, obviously, you read the same article I did! I wondered the same thing & ended up googling him, asking Earle about him & finally found a very informative thread here on Tidefans about the loser. Obviously, he craves attention & detests the Tide. Needless to say, I won't be losing any sleep over his garbage.

Does Alabama have regrettable fans? Sure. Is it magnified now because of the success Saban brought to Tuscaloosa? Undoubtedly.


He's painting with broad brush and it is really just a page click farming troll piece that will enrage the idiots he highlights and peeve the more rational fans who aren't adept to Internet trolling. Clay Travis has not written a single substantive article about college football in my memory. Most are just troll pieces like this one.

Exactly..All he is doing is sucking up to the vol nation, cause that's all they have right now, their football program is still in shambles, and looks to be that way for the distant future, so they try to down & degrade Bama Football..It makes their lives half-... tolerable..LOL

Clay Travis attended George Washington University for his Bachelors and Vanderbilt University for his JD. He was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee though.

I posted it shortly after that post but wikipedia says his undergraduate was from George Washington. He is pretty well educated. I find it kind of below him to reduce himself to troll journalism but I guess this is just another example of how the American ethos glorifies monetary gain over intellectual growth.

It is more accurate to say that he had access to a good education. We educate ourselves. Some of those that are fortunate enough to have better educational opportunities utilize them effectively and become great assets to our society and then there are those like Travis.

So maybe it's no surprise that Raider fans are so angry they're willing to kill visiting fans who make the poor decision to travel to Oakland and watch their team play.Raider fans are the only people on Earth who could consider it a compliment to call their stadium, "The Black Hole."

Make no mistake about it, Kentucky is a very dumb state. But unlike other dumb states, there's no real dilution of the stupid when it comes to who to root for in the state of Kentucky. There are no pro sports franchises in the state siphoning off a few idiots, and Louisville is a substantial minority fan base when it comes to rooting interest in the state. If you root for Louisville you either live in Louisville or you went to the school.

If you root for Kentucky you probably failed the GED.
