I think it will either be Brandon Gibson or Kerry Murphy. I have no inside information to substantiate this, it is just a guess. Both of them were strong Bama leans prior to Saban and upon his hiring had nothing but great things to say. I would take either but would love to have both. :BigA:

I actually think John Brown is getting close. His high school coach said that if Shula & staff weren't gone, then he probably would have already committed. Said he likes the Saban hire, but, wanted to meet the new staff.
However, he might not be a our first public commit - the coach said something about possibly committing privately and waiting until Signing Day to announce.

I would bet it will be one of the recruits visiting this weekend. Therefore,I will go out on a limb and say it will not be J Brown as the 1st Saban commit.:wink: Yes,thats for sure b/c J Brown is not going to be in T Town this week end.However,he just might be the 3rd to 4th Saban commit!:biggrin2:
I'm going to go with Kerry Murphy. He's visiting this weekend and I am guessing he will be the first. That would be cool, wouldn't it? First weekend and you land the #1 player in the state!
