Well said exactly my sentiments!!Why? The rest of the SEC would probably pull for OU if we were in.
You need to check the facts on how much time Sam Bradford sat on the bench in the fourth quarter this year before you make such statements. Sure he stayed in longer than he would normally have of because of the need for style points.Florida or Oklahoma. I don`t care for either team. I`ve really lost a lot of respect for OU and Stoops on the way he runs the score up on some bad teams by leaving his starters in. You`re up 55 to 21 with 4+ minutes to go in the game and your starters are still in the game so you can hang 60 on the 92nd (117th in passing) ranked defense in the country. Same thing with Okie State, (86th in total D and 110th in passing), the week before. IMO... that is classless. I don`t care for Urban, but I do respect Tebow and his leadership abilities.
Such hate for a team whose fans have adopted Bama as their 2nd favorite team? I'm an OU grad living in Norman that has seen Bama play eight times since 2002. Oh well.I'm sick of the lovefest for both Oklahoma and Florida. However, what REALLY makes me sick is the claims that "SEC defenses aren't that good but instead the offenses are just bad", "Big 12 offenses would run all over SEC defenses" and "the SEC is down this year".
I hope Florida stomps a mudhole in Oklahoma that is the size of Texas and then keeps stomping it until Chinese start oozing out.
I want to see Oklahoma gain -250 yards on Florida (0 yards passing, -250 yards rushing all on sack yardage, and 8 interceptions... 5 run back for pick-sixes). I hope that at the end of the night, Bradford and Iglesias follow their heart, leave the team, walk down to South Beach and become a moderately successful fashion designer duo... exclusively supplying Skip Bayless with "mahvelous" apparel for his future public appearances.
Is this the same Tim Tebow that ripped off his helmet to draw attention to himself while still (about 5 yards in) on the playing field after their last TD in the SECCG? Usually this draws an unsportsmanlike conduct 15 yard penalty, enforced on the kick-off, and giving the receiving team great field position. I guess GOD wouldn't allow the officials to throw a flag on Timmy the Savior. Watch the replay of the game and see for yourself. The Birmingham news Sunday edition also had a clear shot of the infraction. All things being equal, I have never cared that much for the Gator nation. But as i posted in another thread, what is not to like about this particular team? When is the last time we have seen a player with the multiple skills, heart, and leadership of Tim Tebow? There other players with few exceptions played with as much heart, determination and resolve as our great Alabama team. A UF victory just adds that much more to Bama's remarkable season.
And don't get me started on Bob Stoop's smug arrogance . . .
Well, ding ding ding...wake up honey. Watch a replay of OU's pass defense against the best passing team in the nation - Texas Tech. I'd say it was pretty good that night, and they won't face a passing team anywhere near Tech's caliber down in Miami. Florida is predominantly a running team, last time I checked. Ask Urban Meyer. This thread is just asking who wins? right? So, I say Florida. I think it will be lopsided as well. Florida by 14+. Wake me up if OU grows a Pass Defense before the game. We have a good pass defense and still had trouble pressuring Tebow and stopping the big play passes. OU's is a total joke.
Yippee. One whole game.Well, ding ding ding...wake up honey. Watch a replay of OU's pass defense against the best passing team in the nation - Texas Tech. I'd say it was pretty good that night, and they won't face a passing team anywhere near Tech's caliber down in Miami.

The one thing that you have failed to take into account is that Leach used to work for Stoops. Stoops knows Leach's offense as well as Leach does, and he said so before the game. That is the only game in which OU's defense shut down a solid offense. They are ranked 99th in the country against the pass and 57th in scoring defense......Watch a replay of OU's pass defense against the best passing team in the nation - Texas Tech. No way man. No way. You're waaaaaay off. OU is well, unstoppable.Who wins the national championship?... Well, Florida did this past Saturday. This next game is just a victory lap for Florida. They will murder Oklahoma. They proved to be just as physical as we are and speed to boot. If they get Harvin back, then I'm thinking Florida will win by 21.
If he was wearing crimson, I wonder if we would feel differently. My gut reaction is that he was trying to fire up his defense and his kicking team.Is this the same Tim Tebow that ripped off his helmet to draw attention to himself while still (about 5 yards in) on the playing field after their last TD in the SECCG? And just maybe Florida hasn't seen an offense this year like they'll see in Miami.Florida.......Oky has a great offense, but Fla. is good on both sides of the ball. Sooners havn't seen a defense all year, but they'll see one in Miami.
Fla. 41
Oky 38

Sure they have - even better. They practice against it all week...And just maybe Florida hasn't seen an offense this year like they'll see in Miami.
PlayerUA, there is no way in the world that Florida will hang 50 or 60 points on OU.
OU has a lighting fast defense and there is no doubt in my mind that they can slow Florida down on offense.
If UF hangs 50 or 60 points on OU I will gladly admit that I was wrong but until I see it happen I will never believe it.
I don't hate OU at all. In fact, OU is my second favorite team (I lived in Lawton when I was young, so I have some ties there).Such hate for a team whose fans have adopted Bama as their 2nd favorite team? I'm an OU grad living in Norman that has seen Bama play eight times since 2002. Oh well.
