Who would you like to see as the starters for Bama's 2011 Offensive line?

If Fluker plays LT whoever the QB is better be ready to take some hits from behind. Fluker's pass protection at RT was not impressive. I can only imagine what it's like on the left side.
My take is a little different.
LT= best pass protector.
Right now that would be Douglas/ AK/AM to fight it out.
Best OLman= BJ
If he stayed at RG beside Fluker at RT like last year it creates a "go-to" zone.
It was a run-right behind this combo before the injuries set in.
Depth at C is a very real concern with Love running #2.
I happen to be a Warmack fan but if any of the rest can unseat him,,, so be it.
Looking forward to a pleasant surprise but, that's the most experience per position.
The real key to the season is closing the gap between the ones and twos.

At 6'7" 275...I want Douglas to put on some more weight. Like 20lbs...at least. They better lead him to the all-you-can-eats and ASAP. That guy needs to be doing nothing but lifting, eating and sleeping.

LT: the incredible hulk, LG: E. Honda, C:The Juggernaut, RG: The Thing, RT: DJ Fluker TIFWIW.
You have to love an E. Honda reference. Is his torpedo or rapid hand jab illegal though? Now we just need Dsalsim (sp?) at WR with that long stretch he has

I think all of the returning starters will start this year. Fluker could move to LT, but I would not just give it to Douglas though I think he will be given the opportunity to win the position. Also, don't rule out McCullough if he appears to be the most consistent LT. The coaches might like him as a swing lineman off the bench that could play multiple positions.

Plus, Vlachos is not going anywhere. You really don't see three year starters on the OL get benched and with good reason.

I agree with ya..That's why I put in parenthesis "if he added the needed speed"..It's possible another summer of Coach Cochran's S&C Program can add some speed to the big guy..
