Who would you rather play in the SEC Championship game, Florida or Georgia?

I know they say you don't want to play a team twice in the same year, but I would rather play Georgia than Florida.

If I could choose I would choose the LOSER of the Florida-Georgia game. But of course, I can't choose so we'll more likely get the WINNER of the Florida-Georgia game.

Once again in my life it doesn't matter what I want. They get to decide.

I'd rather play Florida. We aspire to win the MNC. Let's go through the best.

IMO, the SECC game is Bama-Florida.

At this point, and that could change after this weekend, I would rather play UGA again. Florida has looked very impressive since its loss to Ole Miss. Their running game has improved and the defense has stepped up. Tebow brings an added dimension to the offense no other SEC team has and that puts extra pressure on the defense. Florida's speed is unmatched in the SEC and probably anywhere else and finally, Meyer is a better coach than Richt.

BAMA UF match-up intrigues me and I for one would love to see it; I've seen BAMA UGA.

Considering that we could be undefeated when the SECCG rolls around, odds on the winner would play a Texas or PSU team. That's right, I don't count UF out of the hunt if they could beat an undefeated and # 2 or even #1 ranked team at end of season. On the flip side and the better outcome, a win over a 1 loss and resurgent UF team in the SECCG would be the confidence this team needs, if more is needed. Flashback to 1992. My .02 cents worth and nothing more.

I can't think that far ahead. I just want the Tide to beat Ark. St this week, LSU next week, MSU the week after and finally end the "streak" to AU.
I agree with you Displaced Bama Fan. We have to take care of business and "finish" the year. I believe that we have a great shot at at the SEC Championship Game, if we continue to play like we are capable of. This team is special.

It's a non-issue to me, really. I believe that whoever wins this weekend is who we'll play, and they'll be ranked higher, so I want to play them. I think if UGA beats UF, they supplant them.

Whatever will help us in terms of rankings and "perception" is good for me.

After all the "lean' years and watching repeated SEC championship games without my Crimson Tide... IMO I don't care who we play... We MUST win our remaining conference games first... then just play whoever comes out of the east. Just being in the game is a heck of an accomplishment IMO.

If you want to be the best, you've got to beat the best. Hard to argue that anybody but Florida is playing the best football in the SEC East. I don't want to wiggle our way into a BCS NCG, I want to get there by beating the best of the SEC. That way there's no doubt that we're the real deal and there's no speculation that one or more of our games were flukes, as I've heard plenty of people refer to our game at UGA earlier in the season as. Let FL win the cocktail party and meet us in the SECG.

If we really want to take the easiest path to the championship, why not just beat up on glorified high school teams like the little 10 and pac 1 do? I say the tougher the competition, the better. Man up and beat FL in the SECG or we didn't deserve to go to the BCS NCG in the first place.

Florida. I would prefer there be no doubts, if we make it to the SECCG, that if we had of played _________ that we couldn't have beat them.

Plus, nothing makes me happier than seeing Urban Meyer squirm.

Ultimately, we will play the best team, which is what I want. Until last weekend, I was sure that was UGA. Now I consider it a toss-up--the Gators look hotter than Dave's Insanity Sauce. The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party never looked more interesting.

I guess I would prefer UF, if only because they are the only true SEC power that could allege "we could have taken you" if we don't play them. I would enjoy an off season in which no SEC fan wanted to trash-talk to me.

Regardless, I have faith that CNS has the squad focused on chopping down the forest one tree at a time. And I like the odds for a bare field when we're through.

UF, we owe them one - we're 2-3 against them in the SECCG.

Not only that, but I don't think they have the hosses to play with us - they're more of a 'finesse' team, imo.

I initially thought I would rather us play Florida because of the way they were playing at the beginning of the year. With that said, they have looked really good the last few games. I think our offense pounds on either of their defenses. However, I'm thinking our defense matches up better with a pro set offense and Florida runs that cotton-pickin spread. What do yall think? Do we match up better with the Dawgs pro set or the Gators spread?????

I want to kick a little gator hiney!

We already whupped the dawgs' butts.

I can't stand the gators/Meyer, so while I do like UGA, I hope the gators win this w/e so can get to the gators and they will be highly ranked.

One of my best friends is a huge gator fan, so that will sweeten it just that much more.

I'd want to play the team with the stronger SOS to insure our chance at a BCS Championship slot. Right now, that's Florida. So while I'd rather not think about trying to match up against Tebow, bring on the Gators.

Our boys seem to see Orange like a bull sees red, so maybe that would be a good thing too.
