I'd imagine that's because no one is staying up during the wee hours to moderate the boards. Better to just turn it all off.

We're in the middle of a software update cycle, that's likely what you're seeing.

If it's off every night after a certain time, it's almost certainly something with your ISP or your machine. I've had insomnia spells a few times in my life and TF, while generally dead traffic-wise at 2AM, is always online.

I get up at 3AM, and sometimes check Tidefans and the Asian markets with my coffee. I too have problems from time to time.

It's been doing it for me for the past few weeks. Between 10pm-12am ... 502 Bad Gateway every time ... both my computer & phone

I don’t know that that matters. We have a membership that know the rules and abide by them. Plus, it will still be there in the morning

I thought maybe site maintenance was happening because for a few weeks now TFs goes offline at exactly 11:00pm Central time every night.

It comes back around 4:00-6:00 am a few hours later. I’m usually not up that early/late so I’m not sure the exact time it comes back online.

But no posts occur during those hours so I assumed it was down for everyone in that same span of time.

As a long time lurker before joining, it's something I've noticed for a few years.
