Kubla Khan received a letter from the NCAA concerning using the opposing teams fans on Special Teams. As the front line wall on receiving teams.
No reporters showed up for the press conference. :pDT_bud:

Archaeologists have unearthed the first Crimson Tide stadium. It was located 100 miles E of the city of Ur. It is believed that the structure was “bowl” shaped to assist with echo or amplification of sound.

Archaeological research indicates that Bama fans were allowed to bring their elephants and slaves to the games. Artifacts show that a large portion of slaves wore cow collars and worshiped war eagles. The Tide went undefeated in 1010.

The stadium underwent radical changes during the medieval period. Severe damage was inflicted by the great earthquake in 1349, and the structure was turned into a wool factory to provide employment for unfortunates.

Crimson Tide trustees then paid their share for overseas exploration and set sail with Columbus in 1492. The Southeast called to them. Chief Tuscaloosa (Tuskaloosa at that time) offered the pioneers a deal to settle near the Black Warrior River so that they could rebuild. You know the rest of the story.

Little Known Facts About 1010 Football..

Georgia's official mascot "Uga" was simply called "Ugh"

Alabama's official mascot was a Mammoth.

Auburns official mascot was a cow. The student body voted that it should be a sabre tooth Tiger but Bobby Lowder, a 23 year old donkey salesman, at the time, decided the mascot should portray the schools progressive image and over ruled the students. He donated 14 donkeys to the school president in exchange for power to run the program.

Lane Kiffin, a court jester, had been beheaded by King Edward because he couldn't shut his mouth. He went to hell but the devil hated him so much that he released his spirit so he could be reincarnated and become the Coach at USC 1,000 years later.

And finally..

Penn State announced the hiring of Joe Paterno as head coach.

I hope Alexander the great comes to Bama!
He does....and he will break a rushing record by running for 291 yds against the french sabre-toothed tigers, who will wonder if they shall ever beat this crimson team at home again. King Robert II, unhappy banished them all, and they headed west.

If we go back to 1010 A.D., how many NC's does Bama really have.

We could probably go back farther than 1010 A.D. Did Bama ever play in the Roman Colosseum?

This has to be one of the best threads ever on Tidefans!
