Will Lane have to wear a helmet onto the field?

Tennessee fans wrath at CLK could actually work in our favor.
Lane may prove to be a distraction for Tennessee.
I hope they focus on Lane, and we focus on grinding them into the turf.

Lane is in the position that many WWF wrestling bad guys are in.
Coach Saban was kind of in that position the first time we returned to LSU with Coach Saban.

It's hard to maintain a good mad if the other person doesn't respond to it.

Camera crews will be filming Lane closely at the beginning of the game.

I agree it could be a distraction for their fans. Thing is, Lane made this bed, now he's got to deal with it.

I know that I am in the minority here. But, if I would love to see CLK coach rom the box Saturday. I am a little concerned that some crazy nut job might throw something at him. I know that they have security, and the chances are probably slim, but I might be a little cautious. JMHO.

I disagree. CLK needs to begin putting the UT experience behind him and he can best do that by facing the crowd, hearing their boos and feeling their hatred.

I'm in hopes that they have extra security and that it is actually effective. Seriously. I live up here.

The fans have not forgotten and won't forgive. One, who is otherwise pretty reasonable, said to me this year, "You know, just out of respect for our program you should not have hired him at Alabama". I was so dumbfounded that it took me just a minute to say, "Oh, like the respect your former coach paid to us making things up and telling them to the NZAA?" Ended the conversation on a good note, I thought, but the point is that they are still hot about it.

And although I'm concerned for CLK, I'm even more concerned about the player that happens to be standing near him and takes the mis-aimed whiskey bottle off the back of the head....

Would most of their fans do that? Absolutely not. They may jeer and boo a bit, chant something even more obnoxious than usual. The thing is, though, it only takes one crazy person.
