Will Tebow go Pro?

Most pundits said that Philip Rivers' throwing motion would have to be "retrained" in order to succeed in the NFL. Things seems to have worked out quite nicely for him -- awkward throwing motion and all. If Tebow is accurate (and I don't keep up with his stats), I think it would be foolish to try to fix something that ain't broke.

The question on Rivers was his throwing motion not the quickness of his release. Tebow's release time is a much much greater concern than throwing motion. I think there might be a team to take him on as a project but he definitely won't keep that same release time and succeed in the NFL.

Why would TT stay in school?? He has already graduated. Is he going to get anothe degree? He has won the Heisman, a National championship, possibly two, he will win who knows how many other awards this year.

Pete Prisco is the Jaguars beat writer and he says that TT will most definitely go pro after this year and he will be drafted in the first round. He also says that staying at UF for another year will do nothing to enhance his pro career because UF does not run an offense that will help him grow as a QB.

If U Meyer wants what is best for TT he will tell him to go pro now.

I believe he goes pro and is drafted in the first round. He will make big money and have some success in the pro's but be nothing like his college days. His leadership skills and heart make me think of Bert Jones from LSU when he played for the Colts.

Signing bonuses can feed a lot of hungry kids if he wants to go the John Croyle route. I'm just saying if he wants to impact lives in a positive way, some upfront cach can't hurt getting started.

He'll do what Danny Weurfel did and that's give it a go at the NFL and then "retire" early, take his money and go into missions. He's been raised in a Christian environment with an emphasis on missions. The guy has a "fanatic" type personality and can't do anything any other way than all out. He'll give it his all in the NFL for a few years but ultimately will go overseas and do missions for the rest of his life.

Tebow will probably be a great ball-control QB a la Roethlisberger. He won't run like he does in college but he will still be a threat to pick up the occasional first down and short-yardage TD with his legs.

I think the pros will have a tough time tackling him. It will be easier for them than for college LB's and DE's, but still tough.

I think if FL beats Oklahoma and he projects anywhere in the first round, he may very well go. I know he got a NC as a freshman, but he was really just a role playplayer on that team. I think he feels like he has something left to prove.
