The Women had a nice win over New Zealand last night 6-0. Only one or two starters playing. Some interesting young talent.

I keep hearing people talk about a World Cup match tomorrow in Auburn, but Auburn is not listed as a site on the World Cup website, and the first matches are not until the 11th. Why do people think there is a World Cup match in Auburn?

Argentina is playing a friendly/warmup there. They also did at A&M.

I think we get out of the group for sure. I think we have a lot of talent and will score some goals. The defense worries me right now. We need Richards to play.

Not getting out of the group would be a pretty epic failure. You can come in 3rd in the group and make it out. Our peak is probably round of 16. Though its not completely crazy to say we could beat someone like Belgium, I wouldn't expect it in the least bit but it's not impossible.

We will not go farther than that though. A good tournament will be winning the group and making it to the round of 16. Even getting 2nd in the group and making the round of 16 would be decent.
