Somebody told me "it's probably going to end up being one of the best if not the best weekend of the season, overall". I thought they were being sarcastic. Then I saw where Vanderbilt almost pulled off what would have been the biggest comeback in their entire history, Florida and Georgia was a classic, and Oklahoma took down UcheaT in Knoxville. Not to mention, Kentucky winning at the barn, resulting in the firing of Freeze. Oh and the Duke win over Clemson. How did every last one of those games, which on paper, should NOT have been games, end up being classics for the ages? LOL

I'm going to give YTTV until Saturday morning, then they are fired. The only reason I engaged their services was to get SECN, ESPN, ESPNU, etc. If they are not on YTTV, there is no point in keeping YTTV.

fubo.tv trial worked well yesterday. We liked how responsive/quick channel changes were and also the multiview layout and operation was better than YTTV. I need to deep dive into what channels are/aren’t available and other account issues.

We will see how this week goes but could follow @crimsonaudio and make a permanent switch!

You can go to YouTube Video, and tell it Oklahoma vs. Tn, and find 1/2 dozen people televising the games that Youtube and Disney are denying us.
Tonight I watched full coverage/live coverage of OK and TN. I checked and the Auburn vs KY is also broadcast on several different channels... LOOKS LIKE THIS IS A WAY TO WATCH GAMES DESPITE THE CONFLICT.

Aside from the copyright violation of rebroadcasting channels, no way I’m downloading or streaming anything from any non-legit site or provider. You’re just asking to have all sorts of ID theft and security breach issues.

I did the trial with Fubo this weekend as well, and the service worked really good. It also included ESPN Unlimited (EPSN's new subscription service) at no additional charge. That ended up being a good thing; more on this later. I loved how you could create your own multiview instead of having to go with what YTTV thinks is best.

Fubo's plans can be a little confusing. They offer a basic Sports+News plan that gives you 28 channels. Basically, all the ESPN and Fox sports channels plus your ABC, FOX, and CBS channels.

For Braves fans, they also have a FanDuel Sports Network plan that is $29.99 a month. I don't know why anyone would choose this plan because it is only $19.99 a month going through FanDuel directly.

Jumping to the Essential and Pro plans. The only difference is that the Pro plan includes our FanDuel regional networks. So why are both plans listed at $84.99 a month? I'm glad you asked. Fubo tacks on a $15.99 monthly fee for regional sports networks that they do not mention up front. So, the Pro plan really costs $100.98 a month. Also, this fee is added to each Elite plan as well so always add another $16 to the price shown on the website. You cannot opt out of this on the Pro and Elite plans.

Essential and Pro also do not include ESPN News, ESPNU, NBA channel, or MLB Network. There is a Sports Plus add-on for $11 that adds these channels, plus NFL Redzone and a few other channels I have never heard of before. Or you can choose to pay for the Pro plan quarterly, which will add ESPN News, ESPNU, NBA channel, MLB Network, NHL Network, and Tennis Channel at no additional charge. The quarterly price is the same as the monthly price, just paid once every 3 months at $302.94 ($254.97 + 47.97 regional sports fees).


Now, back to why it was good that ESPN Unlimited was included. YTTV allows you to share your subscription with up to 5 family members who are added to your Google Family. I created an email address for my parents and added it to our Google Family so they could watch YTTV through our subscription, and we split the cost 50-50.

While Fubo offers "Family Sharing" with their Pro and Elite plans, which allows for 3 streams away from your home network, it is only for mobile apps or web browsers. You are only allowed to watch on 1, that's one, "TV device" (Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire stick, app built into TVs, etc.) at a time, on or off your home network. So, this weekend, my dad used the Fubo app on his TV and I used the ESPN app with ESPN Unlimited.

So, I really hope YTTV reaches a deal with Disney this week; otherwise, my parents and I are not going to be able to split the cost of a service anymore.

I did the 5 day trial with DirecTV streaming, the Choice plan to include SEC Network. Also includes ESPN+. We share as a family as well and you can have up to 3 households and NOT limited to mobile app or browsers. Got my daughter set up and my mother in law. Both work great on AppleTV and Roku. I really like the Guide with DirecTV as they've been doing that part a long time. I still like the Library and Multiview with YTTV better. DirecTV does not have multiview.

I had several buffering issues with Fubo for some reason. Never had any with YTTV. Maybe it was because they were getting hammered with new users this weekend, lol. But the interface and all that were fine. I'm definitely going to keep it on the list of potential replacements if YTTV and Disney can't get this figured out.

I wonder how many customers they've already lost that have subscribed to other services that won't return even if they do get it back?

Sling TV for a day pass was $4.99 and it worked fine for me. I ordered the package on my cell phone was able to cast the games from my phone onto the TV and it was clear and without any delay from the live streaming. If Youtube doesn't resolve their issues soon, I will go back to Sling Tv again.

I like YTTV for many reasons aside from football. I will keep them for now, but their fare hikes in the last few years is really turning me off!!!

The ESPN unlimited worked for the most part but later in the day Saturday I had several audio/buffering issues that didn’t happen with YTTV.
