Good win tonight to come back & beat nw state 7-5. Jason Zylstra will have surgery early sat morning on his spine. Praying for full recovery

Just to update all - Jason had surgery this morning at UAB and all went well. Friends reported that Doctors were very confident that he will make a full recovery and did not rule out returning to baseball. Continued prayers for him and his family as the rehab and recovery will be a painful process.

That sounds like everything will be fine in time with patience and some very hard work on his part. Thank God that the young man will have a chance to get his life back. As one of my daughter's said yesterday when I told her of this, just another illustration of how simple things we do everyday can change our lives int he blink of an eye when something goes wrong. That sounded like a truly scary incident.
