You make college football effectively professional, you kill a lot of money-losing collegiate sports. Yeah, I know….Title IX. All that means is that scholarships for both sexes in sports that aren’t football or men’s basketball are affected equally.

And that doesn’t even begin to count the number of scholarships that third or fourth tier schools can’t afford to fund because first-tier schools can no longer afford to play rent-a-win games.

Example #674,098,756 of unintended consequences of well-intended actions.
