Lynch was great, but the correct answer is Kevin Turner (RIP).Another position that doesn't even exist anymore, Fullback, I'd nominate Tarrant Lynch.

Seems you have a list of questions…what’s your answer? From the University of Alabama's football media guide. 1977 All-American Ozzie Newsome - Wide Receiver.

Norwood was a WR...and a sneaky good one at that.I agree that Ozzie is the answer, but I was too young at the time to appreciate his career at Alabama. If we're talking TE I'd say Kevin Norwood deserves an honorable mention. He didn't have as many receptions as Ozzie but he was absolutely outstanding in clutch situations.
Wow you are correct sir. My memory ain't what it used to be!Norwood was a WR...and a sneaky good one at that.
He was a great possession receiver...seems like he caught every ball that was thrown at him.Wow you are correct sir. My memory ain't what it used to be!
No.Was O.J. Howard Alabama's greatest tight end? You youngsters may not remember but Ozzie Newsome played wide receiver at Alabama. If it wasn't Howard, who then was the greatest Bama tight end? College career only.
You can search my posts but I repeatedly referred to Norwood as "the clutchiest clutch who ever clutched."He was a great possession receiver...seems like he caught every ball that was thrown at him.
Can't remember his name, Colin? Just that catch Bama fooled Florida on for a TD in the 2009 SECCG.

I'd offer Johnny Davis. Not real shifty, but incredibly powerful and surprisingly fast in a straight line.Lynch was great, but the correct answer is Kevin Turner (RIP).
Agreed. And Lamonde Russell was a terror in Homer Smith's offense. A bit undersized even by the standards of the day, but nobody could stop him.Irv Smith at his peak was better than OJ Howard was IMO. Wouldn't call him our GOAT TE either obviously
Probably not the greatest, but man I use to love Steve Whitman. Decent runner, but he would blow you up blocking.I'd offer Johnny Davis. Not real shifty, but incredibly powerful and surprisingly fast in a straight line.
I agree about Smith v. Howard.Irv Smith at his peak was better than OJ Howard was IMO. Wouldn't call him our GOAT TE either obviously
