Re: Carlos Dunlap arrested for DUI (out for SECCG?)
Florida's DUI laws
Surely teams have in-house team rules concerning this type of behavior.

Oooooohhhhhh. If he's still in custody, the Vegas line on him starting just moved. But, he's still a prohibitive favorite to play in the 2nd quarter..
I wonder if Urban should give his good friend Lane a call to discuss curfew policies at their respective schools.Does UF not have a curfew for its players? If so, he should be suspended for violating curfew, if for no other reason.
Chemical or Physical Test Provisions (Implied Consent Law)-s. 316.1932, F.S., s. 316.1933, F.S., s. 316.1934, F.S, s. 316.1939, F.SI live in Tennessee now, which is an "implied consent state." You have the right to refuse a breathalyzer test, but you'll automatically lose your DL for a year. I don't know about Florida...
Released with no bail this morning, after getting the what for from the judge.Oooooohhhhhh. If he's still in custody, the Vegas line on him starting just moved. But, he's still a prohibitive favorite to play in the 2nd quarter..![]()
Man, Urban is not going to like this. You people are so quick to judge.![]()
Yeah, no way he was drunk......sell it somewhere else, dude....According to Gainesville Police spokesman Keith Kameg, an officer was dispatched to check out reports of a reckless driver near campus. When the officer spotted the car stopped at an intersection, he noticed the red 2000 Chrysler was not moving through several green lights.
The officer found Dunlap slumped over and asleep at the wheel. The officer woke up Dunlap through a cracked window, but he "would only open his eyes momentarily and then fall back asleep," Kameg said.
The officer unlocked the door, put the car in park and turned off the ignition. Dunlap got out and "was very groggy and had difficulty speaking and listening to instructions," Kameg said.
According to police, Dunlap had watery and bloodshot eyes, and there was a smell of alcohol. Dunlap failed a field sobriety test, refused a breath test and was booked.
Ok nevermind. No line movement, 2:3 favorite to start. +165 on the moneyline...Released with no bail this morning, after getting the what for from the judge.
No prior adjudications and no prior failures to appear, and this is just a misdemeanor.
You believe everything the cops say?The police said alcohol was not involved in his crash. Anyway that doesn't matter. I'm pretty sure Dunlap was drunk. Bad situation any way you look at it, but why was he at a "gathering" on a Monday night?
Just to clarify, the poster was referencing Tiger Woods. You believe everything the cops say?
He was sleeping, and was not outside. Maybe that qualifies as fulfilling curfew. Maybe he fell asleep by 11:00 or so...Does UF not have a curfew for its players? If so, he should be suspended for violating curfew, if for no other reason.
It's interesting to see the dichotomy between fanbases. Swamp Gas is almost 100% convinced that he won't be seeing the field. It's been funny watching the posts on TI. 50% are vociferous that he won't play and 50% or equally persistent that he will. I kinda think he will. He's too important to them. As has been said above, he played Tebow when he shouldn't have...
I believe it's after practice today.Does anyone know when CUM's scheduled to give his next presser?
The Gainesville Sun's report said Meyer would not make a statement about the situation until after today's practice.Does anyone know when CUM's scheduled to give his next presser?
