we're all homers for our own schools, but we should also be respectful to one another.

this thread has definitely been one of the best Ive read on here, and lent different perspectives on how Clowneys recruiting is being viewed.

Whoever winds up with Clowney, is getting one heck of a player...I'm hoping he wears crimson next season, of course.

Almost everyone does it but with bama actually winning and competeing for National Championships everyone calls foul. The only schools that can really say anything are big ten. Also JC is going to look so good coming off the edge in the 3-4 defense.

that is something he should really consider. The best defenses in 'the league' play a 3-4 The Ravens, Jets, Steelers, all play 3-4 as well as the Chargers Patriots and most of the other better teams in the NFL

This is not surprising. If he didn't take another unofficial to USCe, i would think we did not have a shot. Since he is, I feel like it was because he left Bama with more than enough to sway him and this is the USCe's staff last shot to do it. It could happen.....might not.

That is what I have been saying. Because if they were not worried they would not try and get him to visit again.

I actually am liking this. Going for the Kentucky game, by himself and returning home after the game. To bad he can not just go and enjoy the game and that would be the best tactic for USC right now, but they will have 4 on each arm and 4 in each ear the whole time, not to mention fans harrassing him. It also says he might not take anymore visits and is torn between UA and USC.

That's one way to look at it, the other obviously being he's going to help recruit for USCe on their biggest recruiting weekend. I don't know which one it is but I'm leaning toward the latter since I don't realistically see us landing Clowney. I obviously hope I'm wrong though. :redface:
