True dat. I half expect Cyrus K to announce that he is going to Auburn because they will let him play running back.I would just like to echo once again what many posters have already said..... this years recruiting has been crazy weird. I hope this is just a one year thing and not something new.
To a lesser extent, I'd agree. He is still just a kid, but that's the problem he faces. He must mature and push himself more than he ever has before if he wants to play major D-1 football at ANY school (and to me that's where the college coaches make the biggest difference). If I were his mama, I'd trust CNS to do that more than the barner coaches. But I'd still want him at Bama if he wants to be here and work hard. I won't completely write him off until I see the effort he gives after 1 or 2 years in college.Good grief, not this garbage again...
I'm just going to be brutally honest on this one, this kid is wasting his time and everyone else's time too. Until he gets it together mentally and matures, he's never going to be a meaningful contributor regardless of where he signs, and if he's legitimately hell-bent on playing tailback he's going to be a bust even notwithstanding the issues between the ears. He'll either be a middling tailback or he'll get buried on the depth chart at tailback and the pout and quit when someone tries to move him to linebacker. Again, he's just wasting everyone's time.
I think you guys know I'm not one to unnecessarily call out someone , but I'm going to be brutally honest here and call this one a spade: Calloway is basically a slightly more talented Spencer Region. Nothing more, nothing less. And just to be honest, I hope the kid ends up at Auburn. We don't need this kind of junk at Alabama, and as well as we can recruit I'd bet quarters against pennies that we could get much more value out of this scholarship just by waiting and signing someone else in the 2012 class.
I just have a problem w/bad mouthing a kid, in a public forum, w/out knowing all of the facts.there is nothing wrong is saying bad things about aubs be they commits, players, fans, money men, or hired thugs.
Nail meet hammer!!Good grief, not this garbage again...

And that's the problem...that's not what BC sees or wants, and if he doesn't suddenly "see the light", Bama doesn't need him. BET is dead on; he ain't gonna make it in college as an RB, and if he tries to for 4 years, how is he suddenly gonna become an LB or an S in the pros?"And just to be honest, I hope the kid ends up at Auburn. BET, I rarely disagree with you. However, on this one, CNS is putting in an extra special effort and really wants this kid. He definitely sees him as a NFL LB or S.
You could very well be right, but I can't agree with this sentiment just yet.Good grief, not this garbage again...

I have to believe that he would not have been welcomed back for this visit unless the coaching staff believed the kid was worth the effort of a second look.
That's an interesting take, and could very well be correct. His foster dad sounds like he could be that type of guy (though I don't think it was great of him to air his feelings like that in the press).with the recent AL.com article with how his foster father was so disappointed with the way BC handled the situation, has anybody thought for a minute that BC coming to Ttown was to " man up and apoligize" to Coach Saban??
I actually think BC will stick with his auburn commitment when its all said and done.
I was going to say the same. If he was not wanted by CNS then he would not be on campus.I have to believe that he would not have been welcomed back for this visit unless the coaching staff believed the kid was worth the effort of a second look.
that BS was started by their pathetic mods over on their site to get a rise from the Bama Nation.Whatever has happen, I trust Saban to sort it out and hopefully it will end up best for BC. Based on his actions, it's easy to say I don't want him, but I leave that up to Saban. I basically don't trust AU recruiting and so, I just don't want him to end up getting screwed because of it.
Either way, he is not in Auburn this weekend helping them recruit Cyrus.
