IF this is true then we've got the classic parents wanting him to do one thing and him wanting to do another. This ought to be interesting....

He still said Auburn when asked but has doubts. I think he ends up at the Barn but his family wants him elsewhere. We will see where this ends up soon I guess.

Goodbread saying Cyrus will re-announce. If he was sticking with the Barn, I think he would just fax in the LOI. I am hoping this means he is coming to Bama.

I still believe that he wants to be in Crimson. Kids sometimes make spur of the moment decisions. I truly feel that when all is said and done, the smoke clears, and he talks w/his family about it, he will be in Crimson.

this is a strange turn of events and I do believe that something crazy is happening @ the Barn.

This is just a strange situation. We are sitting pretty for months by most accounts; the barn swoops in and he announces for them, but doesn't sign and is now re-considering his choice. Seems like he never really made a decision and made an impulse buy. Hope it works out for him, but I'll just wait to see where the LOI goes and not worry about it until then.

I could also see it something like, "I want to go to Auburn, but my parents will not be able to watch me every week if I go there since my brother might be playing at the same time." Or, basically, he wants Auburn, but the reality of not playing with his brother hit him when he announced. It's a tough deal all the way around. All due respect to New Mexico, I doubt they are the reason he is having second thoughts.

Here's the deal. Calloway was committed to Alabama for about a year, and Kouandjio has long been considered an Alabama lean. Two months ago, neither one of them was even really mentioning Auburn. Yet, because one signed with us today, and the other might not sign with Auburn, we are clearly cheating.
Yeah, I don't get it.

I went back and re-read the tweet and he may have just been posing the question for discussion. Cyrus' coach said a decision would be made tonight or first thing in the morning.

What's REALLY, REALLY going to be fun is if he ultimately sticks with Auburn! Can you imagine the next three to four years of his family's life? I wouldn't envy that for one second.

The Andrew Bone quote says they " do not expect Cyrus to sign his letter of intent today. He told her after the announcement he had "big doubts" about his dicision and feels like he made the wrong choice."
