I dunno if Williams is smaller than I thought or Dial is bigger than I thought..This pic of the two isn't how I imagined they would look like standing beside each other..

Perspective is a little off in that pic, plus Dial is wearing shoes and Williams isn't. That being said, Dial is billed as 6'6" 320 and a report recently said that Williams is down to 319 and I think he was listed at 6'4".

Williams has slimed down a good bit then..They both look like beasts..Glad they're own our side..

Dial has slimmed down a lot. He's around 6'6" 290. He's your typical 3-4 DE that you see in most NFL defenses.

I think Dial may end up being just as big of an impact player on the DL as Williams, maybe more. I look forward to seeing how much our line play has improved. I'd love to see Dial at 6-6, 290 be another Tyson Jackson type player at end. He was that monster lineman from LSU a couple of years ago. First round pick.

At least in physical stature, he reminds me more of a another LSU DE that Coach Saban coached from 2001-03. The late Marquise Hill was a monster off the edge.

I remember seeing him play in person in 2003 at Bryant Denny. Dude was a monster. He and Marcus Spears were scary dudes on that DL. Dial has a chance to do some good things.

Our WHOLE D line has a chance to do some big things. We have so many potential combinations of players it will be interesting to see who takes the starting roles. I look for Williams, Dial AND Upshaw to have BIG years.
