dont forget mizzou they are not as much of a contender as we are tho
peegs That's the vibe around town but don't count out the Sooners yet
@mfoles21 do you think it's either Alabama or Indiana for Kiel?

peegs Most of the Gunner Kiel rumors in Columbus point to Alabama but a lot of pro-Indiana talk is floating around

If you want speculation on Gunners recruitment go read the OU boards and when you go take some meds for their readers because they are so up and down with his recruitment it is like reading clinical study for the psychotic.
In regards to the polls, the Big 12 probably has 3 top 25 teams but OU is the only one that is legit. I mean OSu and aTm have potential but there is only about 7 teams in the country that really have a legit shot of playing in the BCSCG. One being OU which to me would be a shock if they are not there this year. The SEC west has 3 and after that it maybe FSU, Oregon, and Neb only if the SEC west champion has more than 1 loss and 1 of those 3 go undefeated.
FSU will beat Oklahoma.
I had my doubts early in the year if FSU could match the Sooners even in Tallahasee, but as the season slowly approaches my feeling is that if OU shows up unprepared, this game could be an upset.
Jimbo Fisher has elite talent on his roster to compete, but are they ready and develop to go against a loaded and experienced Sooner's team??
I'm just not one that is on the bandwagon about Fisher being the second coming as a head coach. I think he is going to end up as an average head coach and nothing more.
I just can't see F$U beating Oklahoma even though the game is in Tallahassee. I'm just not one that is on the bandwagon about Fisher being the second coming as a head coach. I think he is going to end up as an average head coach and nothing more.
Oklahoma will win the game.
Did I hi-jack this thread?!
I agree w/BamaBryan. The Sooners pounded FSU 47-17 last year in Norman, and they have basically the same team back this year. In fact, FSU has not beaten OU since 1965, and they've played several times since then. I anticipate the game will be somewhat closer because it's being played in Tally, but it won't be enough to overcome the talent/coaching disparity between the two teams. The only way OU loses this game is if they beat themselves with mistakes/turnovers.
Close to the way I feel about Bama, but not happening without the coaching. They've still gotta be coached up.It has a lot to do with recruiting. He is bringning in some monsters to play and it kind of gives you the feeling "How can he lose?".
fisher will play the underdog for all its worth and they will come in highly motavated and could easily win vs the sooners.I think there is alot of hype surrounding Jimbo and for good reasons, but we all know that it takes a good 3 years to really implement your system and have all your own men playing for you. FSU has been recruiting at an elite level in their last 2 recruiting classes under Jimbo. IF he can defeat OU, it will raise eyebrows across the nation for sure. until then he has to play and win the games in the field.
