Danny Sheridan on Finebaum Today about AU case

Danny Sheridan is laying out the Scan Newton case NCAA has against AU. NCAA has identified the bag man that funneled money to Cam. They did it through a 3rd party to try and keep their hands clean. Also talking about the Church receiving the money. Also said that since the Chizik confrontation at SEC event in Destin that the NCAA has turned up the heat.

I dunno, I'm kind of with OpsCon on this one.

Sheridan stressed that NCAA is going to have to rely on their alleged bagman coming forward and telling his story. Everyone understands that it doesn't make any logical sense to argue that Cecil Newton asked MSU for money but sent Cam to Auburn for free, but proving it's a whole other matter, especially when your organization lacks subpoena power and the key players have no reason to talk to you.
