First time watching a video of him. Wow! I see why people are talking about him being one of the best players in 2013.

This kid would make an awesome Jack Linebacker - his speed and length would be pretty strong off the edge. His style reminds me of DT.

Did you get any stats from his defensive performance? He is a truly special player. Not sure he's on Clowney's level just yet as in senior year special but he's close

They are saying hes the best high school prospect in the last ten years !
To be fair, about ever 2 years comes the best high school player in the last ten years. Clowney, Pryor, McKnight, AP, Bush, Young. I think he's going to be an amazing player but will let "They" say whatever "They" want, UA just wins with team ball. Nkemdiche will be a great team player

I tend to agree here. He will be a great recruit and hopefully can live up to the potential wherever he ends up in college. I just see the recruiting services building these players up now because of the of all the fans following these players now. It seems the more hype they add to a player the more subscriptions they get or the more veiwers watch the announcements. Clowney is a perfect example. Yes I think he will be a good player for USC but I doubt he does anything more than a whole slew of other defensive players to come out in the last 10 years. Marcel Dareus was not ranked nearly as high as Clowney or even received the praise JC did coming out of HS. MD was a 3 star and JC a 5 star. Look what MD did for us and he was drafted #3 in the NFL.

Again I think RN has alot of potential but again we will see and I hope to see while he is wearing crimson.

He's already bigger than Clowney and while not quite as fast, his pursuit and relentlessness are pretty extraordinary. Those are not private-school opponents either. He was just that much better.

Kind of unfair to compare the two seeing as Clowney hasn't even played a down of football yet.

I took TW's comment as stars don't matter. Dareus was a 3* that was drafter #3 overall. Can Clowney be drafted higher than that coming in as a 5*? Stars don't really matter. For instance, Ingram was rated the #58 RB in the class of 2008 but was the first running back taken in this year's draft; the highest running back in the class that was drafted was Ryan Williams, who was ranked #10. (all that was according to scout)

Wow! First time I have seen his tape and it is very impressive. Strong, fast and relentless but what I liked most was his passion. He was contstantly getting pumped over big plays and you can tell he truly loves the game. Please come to T-town and help us continue to win championships Robert.

I'm with you Poke on being able to compare him and Clowney and they are comparable with Robert being a little more pyhsical/bigger and Clowney a little faster but it's Robert's 10th grade video. Can't wait to see his Jr and Sr videos and how he continues to develop.

I believe both Clowney and Nkemdiche can become some of the most dominate players of all time b/c they already have the talent to do that but how many players with "it" end up being just good. I think it really matters what program you put yourself with. Clowney picked USCe which has some good defensive players to compliment him and will allow him to put his hand on the ground all the time to try to be that Peppers type player. Will that work out? Who knows. If Nkemdiche picks UA, we'll put him in multiple positions similar to an Upshaw or Dareus which I believe will benefit him more in the long run but it could also hurt him if he can't grasp all those positions.

How is it unfair. All I said was that MD was not nearly rated as high as Clowney coming out of HS, but yet performed to the level of what a 5 star would, which is what Clowney is coming out of HS. That no matter what Clowney does in college will it be that much better than MD? MD helped us win a NC while receiving the defensive MVP for the game, will Clowney? Even if he does what will make him that much better. The only thing Clowney could do besides maybe set some USC records or even possibly a NCAA record or 2 is go 1 or 2 in the draft and to me the top 5 is a wash and truly based on team needs. So no matter what Clowney does at USC he will not surpass what MD has done or many other defensive players in college before him. I mean what more can Clowney or RN do that N Fairley could not do? Again I am pointing out that no matter how they are rated or how much praise they are given coming out of HS there is still a limit to what can be accomplished. Win a NC, lead a top rated defense, and go top 5 in the draft. What else is there to evaluate how good they truly were?

So my point is just because RN is being touted as the next great thing coming out of HS just as Clowney is does not mean he will do mcuh more than many others before him. This has nothing to do with Clowney at USC because it would be the same if he was at UA.

At this pace 2013 will be the most highly hyped class of Nick Sabans at the Capstone. Not saying it will be the best, but with Reuben Foster already signed and this kid loving Alabama, it will be the most hyped.

Especially if Nkemdiche does get the number one overall ranking and Foster gets in the top 10 which is very likely
