The playcalling inside the 50 was the worst I have ever seen! We were getting cute after Trent breaks a 35 yard run? Then Maze stands there and watches a 42 yard punt turn into a 60 yard punt? Then we don't even at least try a few deep plays to get in FG range before overtime. Yes I will get bashed, but I just feel like we played not to lose tonight!

Horrible offensive playcalling. We completely went away from what we do best....run between the tackles. I just don't understand.

Our kicking game didn't help any either though...

Ugly game all the way around.I love the Sabanator but old Les seems to have his number.The offensive play calling continues to dumbfound me.

Better team won? Not so sure. Extremely disappointed in the lack of finishing drives. OT was simply the worst calls and worst execution I have seen from Bama in a long time. Should have won but didn't. I'm done for quite a while so y'all enjoy the rest of the season. Congrats to LSU. They made the plays when they had to.

Before the game, I thought I could pull for LSU in whoever they play in a bowl game. Not after the thug matthieux forearms Dre and gets away with it.

My sentiments eactly NY! Bad play calling in OT, and if time out was called in 4th, we would have at least a 1:30 to get in FG range. This ones on the coaches....and the field goal kicking game
BUT...with a little luck - OSU loses to OU, Stanford loses to Oregon, we jump Boise and we have a slim chance but for whats its worth I think we are Suagr bound now.

No... Stupid playcalling... Overtime is not the time to get cute... Should have just put Trent in the wildcat and ran it up the gut.. And why not try to score before overtime?? Why just let the clock run out??

They cost us a sure TD. We weren't that much better than LSU to overcome that.

There were some execution problems out there tonight obviously, but we got out coached on offense tonight, and that is the primary reason we lost the game. Almost every play action pass that we called on first down with a medium length pass route was successful, but we would abandon it when we needed it most...

I agree Lane as hard as it is to swallow this loss, I still believe we have a very fine team, and will still do great the rest of the year. But make no mistake this stings!!!!

FYI that was not an interception. That is another game changing bad ref call

I hate it when people blame the refs for loosing, but I am with you this time. He was down, and then the ball was stripped. That was BS

Did we ever get inside the 20 yard line? I'd have to say that LSU bent, but didn't break. Their defense stepped up and we choked. They made plays when they needed to. They beat us with a very young team. I do believe that we were out coached as well, but when it comes down to special teams. LSU was definitely better.

The coaches really showed that they had no confidence in AJ or our offense late in the game. We could have had 1:30 to drive down the field, but instead we choose not to call a timeout and just run out the clock. :conf2:

I agree the play calling when we had the ball in LSU's territory was atrocious.
