USA Today has released their chart on how each coach voted in the final regular season poll:

MASH HERE

Some notes:
42 of the 59 coaches voted Alabama #2. The remaining all voted Alabama #3
OSU received 17 second place votes, 5 fourth place votes, and one fifth place vote (Air Force's coach). The remaining were third place votes.
Coach Saban voted LSU, ALabama, Stanford, then OSU. That will be a talking point, I bet.
Tubbs voted Alabama #3, FWIW.

I'm surprised that Cutcliffe helped out Bama as much as he did. Pinkell from Missouri also voted Bama #2 & OSU #4 which helped out as well.

Miles voted Bama #2 so it's not clear why LSU fans are upset that Bama made it. They probably will say that Slive made him.

I don't think Miles is afraid to play us. Many of his fans and a few of his players maybe. They know deep down who they are ;)

Had to laugh when I read the error in the text of the article:

"Stanford's David Shaw also had the Cowboys fourth (Shaw voted his Cardinal No. 3). So did LSU's Nick Saban,"

Coach Pinkel & Coach Saban were on staff together at either KSU or with the Browns...they know each other/are friends I believe.

I like Coach Saban's choices, that is the way I would have voted as well.

Les Miles voted us #2, as did Bo Pelini, Charlie Strong & Brady Hoke.
Mike Riley, Pat Hill, & David Shaw also gave us some love from the West Coast.

Good stuff.

Interesting to see how politics plays a role in this. Of course some of the guys tow the company (i.e. conference) line and then you have guys like Gary Pinkel (of Mizzou) who knows who will be buttering his bread come next year. Ironically enough, Larry Fedora (who some think would be a perfect fit at A&M) voted OK St. 3 and us at 2. Should be interesting to see how that plays into whether or not he gets that gig.

Also, an element that I haven't seen discussed in how it possibly helped us out was David Shaw (Stanford's Head Coach) ranking it 1. LSU 2. Bama 3. Stanford 4. Oklahoma St. I appreciate that. I might send Coach Shaw a thank you card.

He's one of ours. That's good to know. Also, to add to that Pat Hill and Coach Saban were on Belichick's staff together in Cleveland. Good to have connections.

Stanford has a better claim on 2 than the Cowboys. This story was a media creation. Loss to Oregon vs. a loss to Iowa St. Is that even close?
I totally agree...and I think their schedule was better than OSU's.
The computers & media have created this myth that the B12-2 schedule was awesome. It wasn't.
Even Herbstreit said he thought the SEC schedule was better/tougher.
