Unfortunately, my most reliable shot was a long two. Many times, I was asked why I didn't just shoot threes. My main problem was that was my limit, since I didn't have a rotator cuff in my shooting (right) shoulder. The only way I could shoot longer was by using a girl-type heave it up from my hip. Most of my group had played small college ball and were 20-30 years younger than I. One of the taller guys, about 6'5", who'd played small college ball in TN, once commented that he had the same problem. He was deadly from one foot inside the 3 pt line in, but, if he stepped outside it, he couldn't hit either...
