Burrow looked better than the average corndog QB but not a worldbeater. It's early, hard to tell much off one game. LSU is a little better than I thought.

We have some issues, man. Watched the replay. Center was the weak link all game long. Need to improve there badly. Don't be surprised to see Brahms, now back from injury, get a lot of work against ASU this week.
Joe Burrows is a statue QB that is going to throw 2 picks against Auburn. I’m going to say Auburn wins 45-10.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

I don’t doubt we can hold them to 10, but getting to 45 will be difficult if we don’t figure out our run game.

Pass pro was a bright spot, though. Stidham had time back there, and the two sacks we did surrender were when he simply held the ball to long.

Okay 35-10 ;)

I just think revenge, JHS, and an overinflated confidence from a bad team is going to have a significant part in the game. I think LSU is more talented but they are not as disciplined. Burrow should’ve had two pick sixes last night, and Auburn is going to shut the run down to force him to beat them. I think Auburn is going to have a short field all night.

I believe it will be a good game but Auburn will win, especially since it is at Auburn. I kind of wish we played LSU earlier in the schedule this year while their QB is still learning because I think by Nov 3 he will be much improved. He will still be working out the kinks v Auburn.

By that time they will be 3-5 or 4-4 and just about packed it in for the year. Burrow is just another Danny Etling lesser game manager, his ceiling is very low compared to the majority of the other SEC QBs. Folks are going to load the box against them like they did with Etling.

I think LSU looked like a solid SEC team last night. Their quarterback will improve. But, when Miami made adjustments at halftime they were stopped cold only scoring 6 points in the second half. IF they get better, they could be a 9-3 type team going 5-3 in conference. They have the potential to finish 3rd in the West barring injury. Then, again, they could also go completely off the rails with Oeaux's temperament and management of the season. LSU will be an interesting team to watch for sure.

At this point, I don’t think you can take a much away from this game or many of the others this weekend.

LSU is talented defensively. Offense remains to be seen. Burrows to me looked like Ettling 2.0. Coach O is still Coach O. Using all three first half TO’s in the first 12 minutes shows me nothing much has changed in terms of attention to detail.

Miami to me seemed “soft” and poorly repaired. Defensively it was like Manny Diaz was drawing up defensive schemes on the sideline with an etch-a-sketch. Let’s also realize that Miami was pretty much “smoke and mirrors” last year in climbing to #2 and were exposed the last three games. That #8 rating was a farce.

I will agree with Dub. My son was at the Auburn game Saturday. His take away was pretty much along my thinking. Once the Washington d-line got their “feet under them” they stifled the Auburn o-line. Center and tackles are weak points.
Stidham better learn to get on the ground quicker or he make not make it through the year.

Front seven on the auburn defense is stout. Weakness is where is has been the last many years: the secondary and coverage.

Right now I’d say Auburn is 10-14 points better. Home field will be huge. But if a) Aranda can take advantage of the Auburn O-line and rattle Stidham into some mistakes and b) Burrows gets enough time to take advantage of the Barn secondary, it could get interesting.

I've never played DL, but I would think one of them would realize the LT is engaged with the other defender and go elsewhere.

If center is the weak link, Dexter Lawrence will feast on the inside run game.
