LSU's QB will make them a mid tier SEC team. But from what I've seen so far, their offense will struggle to score points against our defense. They are anything but potent. Miami's quarterback cannot throw the ball, LSU's defense knows this and are teeing off. Our passing game can shred you like Freddy Kruger. They won't be able to be as aggressive against our offense as they have been against Miami.

Willis was dominating the LSU OL by himself until it got out of hand. What are they going to do against Auburn’s DL in two weeks? State’s? Our’s?

He looks better than any QB they've had since Mett in 2013 though. Frankly, they only needed someone like Burrow to upset us last year because Etling...well, he couldn't hit a single throw.

Don't think LSU can bet on us not scoring much though, so a guy who can make some throws may not be enough without our own self-inflicted harm

Thats my point. The LSU D *might* be really good - time will tell. But the QB better be able to push the ball in order to beat Bama, and so far, Burrows looks far more like a 'game manager' than someone who can win the game when needed.

Coach Oeaux is a bit feisty tonight. When he gets going on that headset, I wonder if any of his coaches know what the heck he’s saying.

He does look like someone who can have LSU vying for third place in the SEC West, though.

FIFY.

LSU's QB seems serviceable and may improve as the year goes on. They need someone who can consistently make smart throws to keep the defense honest.

LSU's problem is more likely to be inconsistent play across the board. Get up and win a big game, then stink it up.
