Not sure what Jalen's final stats were. He played the 4th quarter. After a turnover his team got the ball with a short field and Jalen threw a TD pass, so his stats probably look a little better.

I have not watched the game yet, but I read that Jalen's grandfather died and his funeral was Wednesday. Jalen was very close to him, but Jalen decided to stay at the Senior Bowl all week for practices instead of attending the funeral.

I am sure that was heavy on his heart and probably one reason he did not play as well as he would have liked.

I think JH is like Tebow - great athlete, but will need to consider changing positions to make it long term in the NFL.

I recall Tim Tebow being a much, much, better passer in College. Just for NFL level, not quite good enough with a slow release. Jahlen may make it to a practice squad, I will be surprised if he makes a roster year one.

Just saw Jalen's final stats for the game. He played 2 quarters (2nd & 4th). He completed 6-of-13 passes for 58 yards with one touchdown and one interception and had a 14-yard run.

Jalen's biggest problem in this game was his offensive line; it looked like all the good linemen were on the North roster.

The only reason Herbert looked better was because he never stayed in the pocket more than two seconds and most of his passes were designed rollouts.

Jalen tried to stay in the pocket too long - like at all on some plays - and paid for it.
