Well, a lot of it WAS the injuries we had last year. Minus those we're giving City a run. But we have to start identifying youth as well. One, because we're aging and two, because of the arms race with City, United and Chelsea. We cannot miss out on young talent and kill ourselves a couple years out. To do that, you have to find someone to sub in w the front 3 (4) or sell one because they're be promised playing timeAlso, I believe it could've been similar to our impasse with Aguerro. He wanted a two year extension, and the club only wanted to sign on for one.
It's just real hard to know what Liverpool is going to do, as a bit of an outsider, because I could almost argue that all the club needs is better luck in regards to injuries.
