Congrats UT, played a hard game. Did a great job.

Ok, no more nice words for the Viles. Good job Bama! Made it 15 in a row! Loved it. Every minute of it.

15 ... against an SEC team. You play them every year. That's real hatred right there. I love it. RTR!!!
Not necessarily hatred . . . Dominance, for sure.

Proud of the win and proud of the defense… if we don’t lose our minds and decide to go for a block on 4 23 the Vols struggle to find 14 points in this game. Let me clue Ga fans and apologists in and that is with this question… who have they played with an offense as explosive as ours?

Great win take. It all any day against any team…

Really proud of the run D. We have elite athletes running all over the field. Athleticism is second to none. The busts in the secondary and on special teams with the roughing the kicker show that at this level it`s what goes on ( or doesn`t ) between the ears that is the difference maker.

Giving up a blocked punt and roughing the kicker causing them to score a TD is a B-?
I agree, maybe a D+ , C-. Missed FG(albeit 54 yards, but it wasn’t close) roughing penalty and blocked punt! What the heck was that blocked punt about? pretty much 3 guys roughed the punter. special teams have taken a step back this year. Only reason I didn’t give an F is there were successes yesterday in special teams!

Run defense has given up 73 yards in the last 2 games combined! BTW, I hate that word! Elite!

I will say, the D line has played better the last few games. The Oline has given Bryce seemingly minutes to throw at times, but they still have some issues with stunts/ blitzes!

Fifteenessee definitely saw the texas a&m game with all of their "injuries" right after a big play by Bama. It is odd how that worked out. I fully expect the rest of our opponents to have the same "injury" issues.
Bingo. I was texting the same thing in a text group during the game. Every time we hit a big play or established a tempo on offense, someone hit the deck for the Pumpkins. As was the case in the A&M game.

At some point the rules need to change to address it. How? I don’t have an answer. But it is a violation of “the spirit of competition” if nothing else.

Defensively, one of Bama’s best performances this season outside of secondary busts.
If Jobe is looking at the sidelines when the ball is snapped, and I’m asking sincerely, who’s fault is that - his or the coaches? Regardless, secondary has some issues, but I don’t think they face any scary passing offenses even through the SECCG.
If the rush defense continues as it’s going, Georgia will have some big problems. Alabama’s defense has faced statistically some of the best offenses already. Georgia’s may be a tad more efficient than some but not to any great degree.
Offensively, if the line ever gels and receivers get their focus where it should be, they could score 60+ points a game. One thing that stood out on LSU’s NC run, their receivers seldom dropped a pass all season. That has to be cleaned up or it may be a problem starting in the SECCG.
Sloppy start but strong finish - and it made it 15 in a row over Phatty’s hayseeds. With a week of rest I’m optimistic about the rest of the season

The line blocking on WR's 54yd attempt was not great. There was an edge rusher pressuring the kick that probably contributed to him shorting the kick. He can make it from that distance with good protection.

Good assessment. I think Josh Jobe just got caught off guard with Tennessee going up-tempo and before he could even get the signals from the bench the vols were snapping the ball. Coach alluded to it in his post game comments. Jobe just wasn't set yet, and he should have been.

Defense looked really really good at times and not so good at other times. We seem to struggle a bit against mobile qbs and that concerns me with Bo Nix coming up later in November. Guy is a master at extending plays and honestly that's all that's left on the schedule that I really have great concern about. What happens on that day will probably determine if we get a shot at the playoff and possibly even the heisman for BY. I do not think he can win it without leading us to victory in jhs.

All that being said, a win over Tennessee is something that I always take the time to enjoy. In my view they are our most natural border rival and always will be. RTR
