Most anyone who's been around me during a game will tell you I expect Bama to win even when it seems impossible, so I get it.
But just because I expect them to win doesn't mean I enjoy watching them flop around.
I’ve never seen Saban so relaxed and laughing on the sideline after a game. I dont think any of us have.

I left home with about 2 minutes left in the first half. Went to the driving range and banged about a bucket and a half of golf balls. Came back and saw the last drive of reg. and O.T. I take full credit for the mojo at the end.

I never quit watching...but I also try not to invest too much emotional energy in young men who do not know I exist. Today I just said, "Let's see how we can get out of this funk..." Still hard to believe we won...

Reality is there are a lot of front runner Alabama fans, though I'll spot CA on two points:
1) he is an alum, and I am not (so he gets a lot more leeway)
2) he explained his why in this thread eloquently
I never give up, and I didn't even give up tonight. I just figured we were dead, and I had to (oh boy) go to work tonight. My hope was we'd put this one away early so I could rest up some more before a 12-hour night shift at Covid-ville.
