yeah I was really more annoyed with what they didn’t call than what they did. Like I said most of the calls that many are listing seem more of the “did I see that foul” judgements and less just outright stupid calls. Yes we have the gift of replay and position but in many of those the refs don’t and if I could make the argument that “he may not have the position” then I’m fine with it.

But the hits on Bryce were ridiculous.

3 hits to the head, one of which even the commentators said was a target..and none called is a pattern not a coincidence. The targeting one was particular hard to understand. And cost us potential points.

Even with the amount of high caliber talent we have undisciplined play combined with poor coaching.really increases the odds of undesirable outcomes.

The bright side is that we still control our own destiny and the year is not lost. Also, we may get another shot at the tenner viles and some payback would be okay with me.

I usually respect you as a poster. However, calling the idiotic play on the punt as "hero ball" vice a huge mistake is pushing it. The kid just made a mistake...he looked like he thought Kool-aid touched the ball. No evidence of poor fundamentals. Just a mistake.

Although our defense was very disappointing tonight it seems most every year we have a game where our defense gets shredded, and not just with Golding. We had it happen with Kirby and Pruitt as well so I'm not going to panic yet.

2021: 41 to TAMU
2020: 48 to OM, 46 to UF
2019: 46 to LSU, 48 to AU
2018: 46 to Clemson
2016: 43 to OM
2015: 43 to OM, 40 to Clemson
2014: 44 to AU, 42 to Ohio State

We'll have to see if we can regroup like we did other seasons. Also watching how the UGA defense plays against UT should tell us more.

An Alabama player tried to play hero ball on a punt play at the end of the first half. That kid cannot care about anyone but himself for even trying that crap. That is a symptom of the rot that a lot of folks are talking about.

Oh but they totally changed their minds after the call was overturned. Now they had looked at it 5 times and said and I quote "if that isn't targeting then I don't know what is". The ref then reviewed said not targeting (also while chuckling to himself) and then the cbs crew said "oh now I see where it isn't targeting."

I stay out of the game threads mostly but this game was no suprise. Even when Bama pulled ahead I didn't feel good about the game. Who being honest could you blame for this lost? In my opinion the whole team from the coaching staff to the players.
