Glassed in areas in the North and South EZ. Ticket comes with food and non-alcoholic drink. What are the "zones" to which some of you are making reference?
The food isn’t exactly Commander’s Palace, but it’s several cuts above standard stadium concession fare.Glassed in areas in the North and South EZ. Ticket comes with food and non-alcoholic drink.
I have been to a few games with Zone tickets - absolutely worth the extra $$$ in the heat of SeptemberIn addition to your outdoor seat, the zones also come with access to a nicely-appointed and air conditioned area where you can still view the game (the same area where all the food is) and a locker where you can keep liquor and preferred mixers. I guess you could keep beer, but it would take up a lot of space and there’s no way to keep it cold.
Between the tickets themselves and the TP donation for the Zones, you do pay for all that.
The bbq was pretty good...I was amazed at how they kept the food coming...the fans sitting there were all very polite and respective of each other...especially this old dude who didn't want to stand up all the time...(moi). I could look at the screen just behind and to the side and see the play if needed...overall a fantastic experience. The food isn’t exactly Commander’s Palace, but it’s several cuts above standard stadium concession fare.

LOL!!! Well Brother....I am as close to 90 as I am 50. And I was watching Bama football in 1961Real fans don't sit that much because they're doing their job - making noise...
Had zone tickets for a UT/Bama game a few years ago and it was a cold, night game. Hot chocolate and hot food was nice and we went in to warm up during half time. I was given the tickets by a friend who is a corporate business man from B'ham, but I know they aren't cheap seats.I have been to a few games with Zone tickets - absolutely worth the extra $$$ in the heat of September
Amen. Your seat. You choose to sit, stand, yell or chill.LOL!!! Well Brother....I am as close to 90 as I am 50. And I was watching Bama football in 1961
The fans' job is to make noise. Saban literally stated this, himself, a few weeks ago.LOL!!! Well Brother....I am as close to 90 as I am 50. And I was watching Bama football in 1961
That's perfectly fair - it's anyone's prerogative to sit down on the job - be that an actual job, a social contract, whatever...Amen. Your seat. You choose to sit, stand, yell or chill.
There’s no way to make season tickets pay off on a financial basis. We had season tickets for years but living in N.C. meant two nights for a hotel. Add gas, food, tickets and lodging and we're up to about $750+ for a weekend. Hard to do on a retired fixed income. We just have a good time watching the big screen with family and friends. Roll Tide.
I have a job. I go to a game to enjoy it, not to work. The fans' job is to make noise. Saban literally stated this, himself, a few weeks ago.
If something precludes a person from doing their job in the stadium, perhaps the best seat for them isn't in the stadium...
Personally, I quite enjoy standing and cheering our team after every big play, singing the fight song after every score, screaming my head off while the opposing team has the ball, feeling that rush when the noise causes the other team to get a false start or delay penalty or have to call a timeout, and singing Rammer Jammer at the end of the game.I have a job. I go to a game to enjoy it, not to work.
No reason you cant make as much noise sitting (and using the seat you paid for) as standingReal fans don't sit that much because they're doing their job - making noise...
Human anatomy disagrees...No reason you cant make as much noise sitting (and using the seat you paid for) as standing
"I don't understand the draw..."Some people just like to go in person. Rather presumptuous to tell people to stay home if they aren't up to standing and screaming for three hours.
We "upgraded" to the Champions Club for the ULM game this year.I have been to a few games with Zone tickets - absolutely worth the extra $$$ in the heat of September
