Texas is okay. We are meh. We have an average line blocking for a RB pretending to be a QB. Coach don't have the guts to make a change. D came up flat at the end. Non conference game so perhaps we can make a run. Does anyone really believe that is possible with Milroe?
Milroe isn’t the answer. The last couple of years Bryce propped up the team a bit — this is more of a Blake Sims situation. I don’t see playoffs in our future this season unfortunately.
Saban should take the blame for this one. He at least had to try making a change, ANY change. But he didn’t.
It would have been nice to have played another cupcake like some teams have been doing.
One minor thing in the category of a pleasant surprise tonight. I don’t recall any wide receiver drops. So glass like 1/10th full!
All the talk of improvement by the offensive line and defense … just talk.
I guess I'm a never say die kind of guy, but we can still be a good team this year. We've got a lot of things to figure out, but they are fixable. I hope our guys will step up and meet the challenge. I think we just played the best team on our schedule, mainly because of Sark, so I'm hoping we can win out from here. Yes, I may be crazy, but that's my hope for this year.

The SEC didn’t just start sucking for no reason. Teams are raiding SEC rosters and sucking the depth charts for talent. Coupled with unregulated cheating and tampering, it’s actually not all that surprising.

We are victim of our own success. Few upperclassmen will mean a more difficult road to championships. This team is young and that’s that.
Add another 7 for the pass to McLellan that he didn't catch. Poor throw, yes. Bad snap, yes. A running doing a wide receiver's job, yes.
3 of the 6 highest ranked recruiting classes in history are on campus right now, yet this is the result. Something isn’t right.
CNS has always said he doesn’t want to ride the program down. I sure hope this isn’t the start of that. He’s been and is beyond incredible, but the end comes for us all. Bear faced the same thing. I hope he goes on another run, but I am scared this may be his swan song.

And while Saban enjoyed berating the press for calling Bama dead when OM beat them - this was different. And the last few years have felt different as well...
I don't know the answer, but I do know that it feels very much like the 'Saban magic' is gone.
