Golding had Will Anderson doing the same thing. Maybe it's CNS's idea.Initial thoughts:
Milroe is what many of us thought he is. Not sure the root cause, but he's not seeing the field (there were guys open all night he didn't try to throw to), and he throws late. The INTs were on routes where he threw later than he should have instead of anticipating the breaks, he waits till the WR is out of the break. He's been doing it in all the practices and it showed tonight.
Steele needs to unleash the OLBs. Too many times he's having the OLB drop into coverage and only rushing 3. Our EDGE guys are some of the best pass rushers in the game and he's got them dropping into pass coverage, consistently. That's unlikely to work well.
Same. I think the dynasty is over. What a heck of a run tho.I used to pace back and forth while watching close games, but I am not excited about the direction of college football now. I thought once the season started I'd get back into it, last week was nice but I was kinda "Meh" and tonight I yelled at the TV a few times, hurled some profanities, but no pacing and I accepted the loss a lot better than years past.
Alabama can use it too. I mean if Alabama run off players and brought in 30-40 new ones people wouuld react differently than with COL, BUT, they CAN do it.See Colorado
Everything changes…just part of lifeI wonder sometimes if Father Time is catching up to him and the inevitable slow down most experience isnt also catching up
Blake sims actually improved from the previous season. Milroe doesn't seem to have improved. Sadly i see a lot of similarities to fsu in the last six years under Bowden. Not a knock on Coach at all. Don't take it like that. But over time staff turnover takes a toll. Now add the transfer portal when a freshman doesn't want to wait and develop and then NIL also on top of that. It is no longer about playing for a top notch coach who will put you in the nfl. Even Ewers went to osu because of a promised nil deal. Then when he didnt get the playing time he WANTED he was given a nice little nil deal to come back to texas. I was born in 71. The last few years of Bryant. I have seen hi's and the three mikes. Was elatwd when Saban was hired cause i knew Bama would win maybe 3 N.C.'s. Never in my wildest dreams would I have belived what we had since 07. Just like rules changes had an effect on Coach Bryant they have had an effect on Coach Saban. But, atleast it hasn't been as bad for Bama as it has been for my Oakland Raiders. I know its Las Vegas but they will always be Oakland to me.Milroe isn’t the answer. The last couple of years Bryce propped up the team a bit — this is more of a Blake Sims situation. I don’t see playoffs in our future this season unfortunately.
Ditto, we’re a basketball school nowI used to pace back and forth while watching close games, but I am not excited about the direction of college football now. I thought once the season started I'd get back into it, last week was nice but I was kinda "Meh" and tonight I yelled at the TV a few times, hurled some profanities, but no pacing and I accepted the loss a lot better than years past.
The defense played ok as a whole, considering. We got no pressure at all but I refuse to believe that is because of lack of talent. This looked just like a typical Golding scheme. Something isn’t right.
And things only get tougher in the SEC next year.Same. I think the dynasty is over. What a heck of a run tho.
Like CNS said o his post game press a few seconds ago, we can either throw in the towel or try to get better. Maybe some of the folks on here need to choose. RTR my friends.
Actually in the first pick he go a hard corner because they rolled coverage to the formation so thing Alabama rarely does. The second pick was atrocious because he had one on one to the middle of the field with no safety in the whole. But our problems are bigger than him. We were not physical enough tonight either.Initial thoughts:

if it's his idea, it's a bad one................I wasnt sold on Steele, and he may make me change my mind, but I dont see him getting it done if he starts acting like the previous DCGolding had Will Anderson doing the same thing. Maybe it's CNS's idea.
True on Milroe too.
I would throw in the towel, but I need something to wipe my tears.Like CNS said o his post game press a few seconds ago, we can either throw in the towel or try to get better. Maybe some of the folks on here need to choose. RTR my friends.
No, Anderson was forced to slide inside like a DT with another OLB outside him. This is different. Just as bad, but different.Golding had Will Anderson doing the same thing. Maybe it's CNS's idea.
True on Milroe too.
