I see you (Auburn) hiding in the weeds. Thoughts on Iron Bowl 2023

Usually we come into this game ( Auburn ) with a business mindset. I don't see it that way this year. We are getting better each week and I think that will carry over on the plains. I see a much more motivated team. We haven't played our best football yet. Steele will have the " D " jacked up. He should have a burr under his saddle after being shunned for the Auburn job. Jordan Hare will have no mystic for him.

Freeze's entire career is summed up in two wins. He knows the games that matter nationally. He will gladly sacrifice preparation for other opponents to prepare for Alabama, and will have done so this year.

For Freeze, this isn't about Alabama vs. Auburn. This is about Freeze vs. Saban.

This is what I hope to see too! Usually, we are trying to idle the engine and not lose to Auburn but this year is different. We are on a mission of improvement and desire to impress the CFP committee.

As you say, we still haven't played our best game. Not really even close. We are peaking at the perfect time and I hope it reaches its apex against Georgia but Auburn just might get a Bama team that wants more than a win at Auburn. We are a team with something to prove!!!

The weird bounces, like Mac bouncing one off a receiver's butt in 2019, cannot be accurately predicted.

They gave UGA heck back in the earlier part of the season. I expect they bring it to us, and we'll need 4 quarters of football like we did against LSU. It shouldn't be so, but it's the Iron Bowl, and that's the whole message.

Now we can talk AU!! I said 4 weeks ago they were a hot mess at QB but by settling on one they seem to be getting better —at least until Dallas and/or Chris make a sandwich out of him!! RTR! I think our D will shine and O will be more than adequate to handle JH!!
