Montana sells out to set up the left return completely surrendering the right side of the defense. NDSU fakes the punt, runs left, picks up the 1st down.

Good lord this Texas state vs Rice bowl game is a mess. I really believe the clock rules were put in place for this crap show. Constant flags, reviews, and turnovers. It's like a joint effort between the refs and both teams to make this game as much of a slop fest as possible. There is still 10 minutes left in the game.

Just saw another example in the Kansas-UNLV game tonight. I had turned it off because it was ugly early but came back and UNLV had cut the Kansas lead to 35-30. Next possession they get the ball back and have it 4th and 1. Their play call? - a deep sideline pass to a completely covered receiver. It was 4th and 1 and that's what you run? Yes, more stupid football. Kansas has now made it 49-30, so I'm done with this one. Plus, that songbird of songbirds, Beth Mowens is calling this one.

Tulane is down 10 (27-17) late in the 3rd qtr. 3rd and goal from the 5. Tulane has been running the ball well. It is pouring down rain and 40 degrees.
Tulane calls a 2 yard curl route. TE catches the ball and is immediately tackled. 4th and 3. If you are going to throw the ball, at least run a route in the end zone. Jeez.
