Who is Saban's replacement?

I don't take anyone seriously when they mention Tommy Rees.

I was hoping for Sark. I had heard some things today but obviously, it doesn't seem to have been a possibility.

Not a fan of Norvell.

I don't take anyone seriously when they mention Dabo either.

So, the Washington coach. I don't have a positive feeling about him. I don't have a negative one either.

My Top 3 is the same as this morning...

1) Sark
2) Kiffin
3) DeBoer with Grubb package deal

Why in God’s name would you ever consider Rees over Kiffin? He would literally walk from Oxford to Tuscaloosa for the job. Please don’t give me his past, burned bridges, etc, whatever.

He’s far and away the BEST option. It’s just foolish pride at this point.
Never thought I would say this but you are most likely correct. Why do I feel the need to wash my mouth out with soap after the stunt he pulled on his way out. However, I think he knows he was wrong and has shown respect for CNS and what he did for him. I prefer him over Dabo every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

You want to hire a guy who can’t win a big game?
Well Oregon lost twice to a team that Michigan steam rolled. People seem pretty stoked about the possibility of oregons coach. Just an off the wall hire no one is thinking about. I’d take day over fsu coach, Rees, …

Kiffin disqualified himself.

Did he kill somebody?

Did he get a DUI? You know…like a former UNDER performing DC of ours that we still kept 5 years too long?

We disqualified him simply because the powers that be don’t like him and it doesn’t matter he’s clearly the best choice. If you think he’s not you’re just trying to convince yourself of that.

While I knew the retirement might come, I am shocked at the way it happened. I always pictured a press conference with Saban and his hand-picked successor…..🤷🏻‍♂️

for real. I know Coach issued a statement, but there will be some sort of presser, won’t there???

It's interesting why people are so high on Sark over Kiffin. Honestly, outside of this year, Sark has never been a particularly successful head coach. When comparing the two of them, Kiffin has five seasons of 10+ wins and Sark has one. I get the issues from the past, but they both have baggage.
