Middle East tensions are mounting.....also to include latest Gaza news.....

The reason we have not retaliated is because immediately after the attack......our opponent moved out of the area and now we don't know where they are - or they are somewhere we don't want to bomb.

They knew retaliation was a possibility and didn't wait around to "find out".

Smart move and is what I would have done.

I've heard several politicians opine that we don't want to retaliate because we don't want to mess up any peace talks with Hamas.

LOL........wow. Talk about spin.......
It's called "Shoot and scoot"...

These advance warnings are among the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. SMH

While I understand your point CA........maybe there's a strategy there.

Seems to me we need to demonstrate that we are not after the killing of their people (yet) as much as just taking out their weaponry infrastructure to slow down and/or stop future attacks.

It's the same concept as imposing sanctions against a country....such as Russia after it invaded Ukraine.

If Israel could destroy the infrastructure of Hamas without taking human life.....except for maybe the top leaders......it'd probably be more acceptable in the global community.

I'm glad we responded today. I wouldn't expect it to change anything but we'll see.

God Bless and protect our troops!

i wonder what the U.S. show of force here does for the Ukrainian mindset. It’s shameful the Repubs have been withholding any more funding for them.

I saw a report on tv this morning that said Iran has a video out warning against our sinking this boat.
Keep in mind videos are 100% for the people, not the governments. All Iran has to do is pick up the phone and call the US to tell them such - videos and public statements are all about creating public pressure.

No government needs to make a video to warn their adversary.
