What will it be? Stadium or Field?

I still prefer Bryant Denny Stadium at Nick Saban Field over Nick Saban Field at Bryant Denny Stadium. The former just sounds better.

But the field is inside the stadium. If you're giving directions to the stadium, there's no need to mention the field. If someone asks, "Where's the to-do going to be?". Then you wouid say, "At Nick Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium."

Mississippi State has Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field. That's probably why the other way sounds so weird, because I'm used to theirs

I never heard it that way. It's always been separate. Before games, Eli would say from Davis Wade Stadium. I don't recall him mentioning Scott Field. I don't recall the stadium or field mentioned anywhere much.

The only reason I do not like this is because I wanted something that would be used publicly/socially more often. All the "field @ Stadium" (or vice versa) names are only really used by locals. TV broadcast rarely ever use them, forum post hardly ever use them, it will still be abbreviated as BDS, etc. Think about it, when was the last time your heard TV personalities, or anyone other than die hard fans, use the field part of the name for places like Steve Spurrier-Florida Field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium? It is always just Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Shoot, UF's own athletic page for the stadium doesn't even use it: Ben Hill Griffin Stadium - Florida Gators. I did not even know Davis Wade Stadium had an "at field" portion until the post a few above mine.

I just wanted something for the greatest coach in history that would be spoken every time the stadium was mentioned. The "field at" or "at field" names just aren't used enough. That is why I favored "Saban Bryant Denny Stadium", or better yet just "Saban Bryant Stadium" (the Denny name would still have Denny Chimes). Saban's name deserves to be mentioned right next to Bryant's, not as some sub-category of a name that looks like it wasn't quite good enough to make all the way next to Bryant.

The only reason I know is because I grew up in Starkville, and have been there a bunch of times. That's what it says on signage and such.

I think theirs is because it was already Scott Field, and they added the stadium later, so I guess we are doing it this way since Bryant Denny came first.

Speaking of the statue, now that Coach has retired, I'd like to see a new statue commissioned to replace that gosh awful one. Maybe I'm one of the few who doesn't like it. 🤷‍♂️
I do not care for the pose in the current statue either.
Much more appropriate would have been the pose he struck in the photo on the cover of the film Game Changer.
