I think K Law was going to be a important part of the game plan. I could tell the way Kirby was talking about him that they saw some stuff in practice. I think him going down may have affected our play in he second half. Also we played with more tempo in the first half. I think the offense lost some rhythm just trying to hold on to the lead. The sideline reporter said KD told Milroe we have a big lead just be careful with the ball. Before this game if someone had told me we would win by 7 I would have been stoked. RTR

Yea we our whole attitude changed in the 2nd half. Yes Georgia adjusted but still, we were way to passive.

I was surprised Law never came back. I agree he was probably going to be a big part of the plan.

Only thing worse for Auburn than losing a game the way they did today is traveling to Athens to play UGA after they lost to us. 😆

Peyton Thorne may want to look at the Reverend tomorrow and say “I think I tweaked a hammy…..”

7Two things happened offensively in that second half and one thing defensively. Both which led to a cascade of events which we fortunately survived. Offensively our guys came out simply going through the motions. And our OC did little to help with play callings. The other thing (on Womack) is letting them convert SIX fourth downs! Some of which were on THE GEORGIA side of the field . We make stops on just TWO of those six and we win this going away.

Yeah lesson to be learned by players but by this coaching staff as well.

Edit: okay I had one too many brews. UGA was 5 for 5 on 4th down. Carry on.
Apparently going for it on 4th down and making it via penalty doesn’t show up in stats like you’d expect. Because they went for it several more times than 5!

I hope someone is blowing up DawgNation and AJC talking head Mike Griffin’s X account. (I would but I don't do X). He was running his mouth about how “DeBoer doesn’t know SEC football and Kirby does”.

Funny… maybe Kirby knows SEC football except the stuff played in Tuscaloosa.
