I think K Law was going to be a important part of the game plan. I could tell the way Kirby was talking about him that they saw some stuff in practice. I think him going down may have affected our play in he second half. Also we played with more tempo in the first half. I think the offense lost some rhythm just trying to hold on to the lead. The sideline reporter said KD told Milroe we have a big lead just be careful with the ball. Before this game if someone had told me we would win by 7 I would have been stoked. RTR

We gave them at least one on a penalty so you were not far off

Yea we our whole attitude changed in the 2nd half. Yes Georgia adjusted but still, we were way to passive.

That was our Groza award winning kicker nearly kissing the right upright to go 1 for 2 on the year

7Two things happened offensively in that second half and one thing defensively. Both which led to a cascade of events which we fortunately survived. Offensively our guys came out simply going through the motions. And our OC did little to help with play callings. The other thing (on Womack) is letting them convert SIX fourth downs! Some of which were on THE GEORGIA side of the field . We make stops on just TWO of those six and we win this going away.


Yeah lesson to be learned by players but by this coaching staff as well.

Apparently going for it on 4th down and making it via penalty doesn’t show up in stats like you’d expect. Because they went for it several more times than 5!

One thing that most will forget is the egregious missed PI call with about a minute left in the first half. If the correct call is made it probably leads to a touchdown just before the half (with how things were rolling) which also changes the complexion of the second half.

The craziest stat to me is when Georgia went down 28-0, and thus decided punting was no longer an option, they made every single 4th down conversion.

Our offense was not as effective when Law went out. That guy is a force on the field in his blocking, receiving, and leadership.
