Tennessee plays them in Athens, right? I would agree they will beat the Vols. I think they finish 10-2, with us and Texas having the head-to-head tiebreaker over them.

This has been brought up before and I didn't respond, but...
I've been a BAMA fan since '75 when I moved to Florence. I've watched most games, and been to several. My son and I were standing at the fence when Cornbread hit Steve Burlein, in T'town when VU beat a Perkins coached team, in B'ham when Deuce scored the come from behind winner against UT, in Jackson, Ms when MSU won 6-3, in B'ham for the first SEC Championship Game, in Pasadena for the NC game with Texas, in Miami for a playoff game with OK., etc. My point is that I qualify as an avid BAMA fan, and now at 76, I question whether anyone younger has the right to tell me that I should keep my hindquarters out of the stadium.
With that said, I decided a few years ago that I would no longer attend games because the requirements to do so were beyond what I was willing to do, and standing for an entire game was foremost.
I trust all of you will carry the torch forward, while I will be on my sofa where I can scream, cuss, throw things or simply cheer without offending anyone. And Mr. C N, I'm not mad at anyone, but it is personal to me. Enjoy my seat, or the foot space in front of it.

Once I saw the first few drives I wasn't surprised because it reminded me of what an innovative offense would do to Kirby's defense at Bama from time to time. I had a gut feeling our offense was going to gash his defense. QB's like Milroe are Kirby's worst nightmare and that nightmare came to fruition for them. I just don't understand why more effort wasn't put into second half adjustments when it became obvious UGA made adjustments.
Granted, I get we didn't have the same amount of possessions as the first half, but the possessions we did have we didn't do much of anything to adjust to their adjustments. The only thing I can conclude is they felt like if they just played it safe UGA would run out of time.
I have Texas and Bama in the SEC Championship game. UGA is going to lose 3. The defense starting slow has been an issue for them this year.
One of the expected requirements - in terms of a sort of social contract - for fans attending the game is to actually be part of the game.
Alabama fans have had a reputation for decades - regardless of how avid we each may have considered ourselves to be - for not being real fans because we want to sit on our hands at games.
As a result, Bryant Denny Stadium was not considered a difficult place to play. It may be difficult to beat Alabama but no more difficult than on a neutral field.
As fans attending the game, it's part of our responsibility to make Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium be the opposite of a neutral field; it needs to clearly be our turf with our fans making as much noise and commotion as we can.
We're getting better at that part of things and a few Georgia fans mentioned as much to me this weekend.
However, there are still far too many "fans" in Tide Pride sections who want to sit sheepishly and merely watch the game while not being part of it.
Oh, and there are far, far too many rival fans sitting in Tide Pride sections, too!
The game day experience is being catered to (understandably) the younger and/or the "fanatic" type of fan. It is also being catered to the people with deep pockets, which I will also throw out a "rightfully so" comment as well. Hey, in the NIL era, you need people with deep pockets more than ever.
Though I'll never criticize someone who pays for a ticket to decide to "just sit" in their chair the entire time. I will say that the gameday atmosphere is being catered to other types of fans and if you're okay with that, then great. If not, then it's probably best to stay at home, save some money and watch it on tv.

I've seen some criticizing Milroe for the second-half performance, but I'm not in that camp. I felt the offensive coaches dialed back the aggression and as you said didn't adjust to UGA's adjustments. It almost cost them the game. We all have to remember that the coaching staff is learning to coach in the SEC just like the young players are learning to play. I'm hopeful this will be a lesson learned with out a loss that good SEC teams will go on a run and no lead is safe when playing at the top of the conference.
Glad we won, but why are we centering our entire offense around Milroe, to the point of that the backs are hardly getting any carries? It would've been nice to feed Jam and Justice a whole lot more. That's one of my few complaints at this point. The media keeps trying to say they held our backs to however many yards it was, but it was really because we didn't feed them.
Oh yeah, I put it on the coaches, not the players. It was overly obvious the offensive approach changed in the second half.
I’m not sure about CKDs history with RBs but I’m wondering if we will even see a 15-20 carry, 100yd performance from either one this year. I gotta think we will, but it looks like Jam and Justice will have to fight for carries
