Questions about Milroe.

To be fair, Sark was getting blown out. While we had a lead. Pretty different situations.

It also kind of felt like Sark benched Ewers just to give him a second to reset and come back out in the 2nd half but that's more of a guess on my part.

I do really hope Ty is getting more reps this week though.
It was also a home game. If Ty comes in does not do well and Deboer brings Milroe back in, the Vol faithful would have gone bonkers.

I didn't mean in the Tennessee game. I said I can rationalize him starting Milroe THROUGH the Tenn game. But moving forward I cannot. I used Sark as an example to say we can't be afraid to make a QB change regardless of who it is. It's time for a change...

Let’s not do this…there was no report of an injury heading into the TN game. He was not limping. He was not shaking his hand or arm. He played a very bad game because he’s not a good quarterback. Simple as that.
Yes you can't get to where he needs to be with the motion he has.

I have absolutely no faith that a change will be made. We tried it last year and it was a near disaster. Many of those players are still here.
I wish KDB would make the change, even if Ty comes out flat at least you know what you have work with going into next year. I just cant help but believe Ty would do any worse then Milroe.

After DeBoer's presser today it sure seems like he's committed to starting Milroe for the remainder of the season so anyone hoping for Simpson can probably forget about it. We might see Simpson play in the 2nd half of the Mercer game but that's about it IMO.

As I stated; no idea if it had any effect. But; he was definetly dinged in that game. DeBoer was somewhat evasive in the presser today when questioned.

I don't read much in to Pressers so far ahead of a game. Many things can happen between now an Saturday at Kickoff. But, ultimately it's his choice and he will have to start making some tough decisions if the NIL entity LANK is responsible for any problems on the Team.

His pressers are a long stream of nothing but cliche'd coach speak. I wouldn't take anything from them. My guess is by this time next season there won't be one reporter showing up to his pressers. That's how uninformative they are.

Pretty disappointing to be honest. I’m not asking for the 411 on all the secrets. But something besides “we played football today, and this week we will practice football” would be nice.

When asked if Milroe is playing injured, Coach DeBoer said, "By this time in the year, I do not think there aree many guys who play a lot of snaps that do not have something, and just working through it, but he's more than capable and as he goes through the week, he's ready on Saturdays to go an get a win."
I read that as, "yes, he has an injury, but we think (and he thinks) he can play through it."
