Agree, I’m not finding these appealing at all, especially as season goes on. He doesn’t really reveal anything or use these to send messages, even in his own way. At worst, impression is…well as discussed at length here. At best, ok with boring interviews if we see the results and things moving in positive direction on the field
He looks more uncomfortable in front of the media than Mike Shula….and that is saying a bunch

I would be uncomfortable as well if as a coach, I had a QB throwing the ball to the wrong jersey from his own endzone then throwing the ball to the wrong jersey in their endzone. Particularly if I felt my hands were tied in doing anything about that.

Would never be successful at it because I would absolutely lose it if a QB did that!

How would Saban have handled it in his prime? We can picture that can't we!

If only he were the coach and in charge of roster decisions…

CNS said on last Saturday’s CGD that he told CKD that Bama fans have High expectations and not a lot of patience and that he would have to just block out the fan base noise and do things his way.

There is truth in that but I wonder if CKD thinks we only care about the W-L record?

I’d rather eliminate the politics and play the players that are trying to win together as a team with everyone equally involved and if the result is 8-4 or 7-5 but a nucleus of togetherness is being formed that’s fine.

That’s better to me than being 9-3 or 10-2 with the current dynamics of trying to feed and force promote catch phrases like 4+2 = 6 with guys doing fake jump shots and Jam and Justice are getting almost no carries and Law and Adams and the TE’s hardly get targeted and everybody goes to the sidelines and nobody discusses squat about what’s going on.

I think Benson would be missed in a better passing offense. he's playing at the dumpster fire that is FSU right now and has already well exceeded his stats for all of last year. Who knows what he could do in a modern offense with a decent QB?
Maybe. I feel like all I have seen from highlights are drops at FSU but I also haven't actually watched FSU since maybe week 1. I mostly meant if we had Bond, Ryan Williams and Bernard I don't think we'd be missing Benson

Jalen's ability to run is what makes him special as a QB, but I think I've heard him say a couple of times that he would rather throw first. Maybe that's why he won't take the running opportunities when they are there. I think if he would do that, the defense would have to respect the run and it would open up the passing game for him.
His ability to run has been a liability lately. Teams have figured out his running pattern and know exactly how to defend him.
One of his run plays last Saturday he was going right. The outside receiver had his man blocked to the outside. JM took one step to cut up and inexplicably changed his mind and tried to go around the end and took a loss instead of cutting up inside and at least getting some yards.

Its Jalens team at the moment barring injury or a collapse of biblical proportion. Its his last year and he'll get drafted somewhere probably. Hes not coming back. Heck he'll get drafted for beating Georgia twice alone.

Its the 1st year pass CKD.

Dont even get too bent outta shape about this season.

Saban literally said every player he met with at the end of the season was only concerned about “their brand” and their NIL deals. It’s why he retired.
Saban also said that the first thing most HIGH SCHOOL RECRUITS wanted to talk about was NIL dollars and how much they would get. Some even demanding money to come to campus for an official visit. Not about their role. Not about their development. Not about his plan for them. The first thing was “the bag”.

Any kid that demanded money to visit would be scratched off my list forever.

A lot of these recruits and current players have things like: "For marketing inquiries please contact so n so @whatever.com"
1st thing on their X profiles.....

All about the Benjamins now sadly.
