My wife and I were at an anniversary dinner and didn’t get to see much of the game. What was the deal with LSU booing the blatant facemask penalty? Kelly was whining to the refs too. Seriously what replay did they watch?

Kelly (he killed a guy) did not know the rule. Neither do the corndog fans. they thought the lsu defender didn't grab the bar but the helmet where the bar connects. They wrongly believed that was not a penalty.

Pretty much Kelly just being Kelly. He gets all agitated and it stirs up the idiots. It was an obvious face mask penalty.

BTW, that LSU coach is a scumbag. Risking his starting QB to get a TD in garbage time is low class. Kid was limping at the end.

Kelly’s a sociopath, plain and simple. Never forget he continued a practice for 25 minutes after a student fell to his death in a scissor lift in 50 mph winds filming that practice.

If we are in the Top 8 we’d get a Home Rd 1 game and playing in the SECCG wouldn’t be worth the risk.

But if we are 9-12 we’d have to play a Road game in Round 1 so it might be worth the shot to win the SECCG and get an Auto Top 4 seed and Bye.

Of course we have no control over any of it right now except winning the next 3.

Eligible A80 is airborne near the sideline when he receives a legal forward pass. As he comes to the ground facing the field of play, his toe (a) clearly drags the ground inbounds before he falls out of bounds; (b) touches the ground inbounds and then his heel comes down on the sideline in a continuous motion. He maintains firm control of the ball in both cases.

RULING: (a) Complete pass. (b) Incomplete pass. The continuous toe-heel touching is part of a single process and by interpretation he has landed out of bounds, thus not executing a catch.

Learned a rule tonight. The WR heel landed in first, but the toe landing out of bounds in the same motion means it's incomplete.

If Alabama wins out in the regular season, with their SoS and what have you, they are extremely likely to get a home playoff game. Sagarin had Alabama at 5, ESPN's FPI had Alabama at 3, and that was before they kicked LSU's teeth in. The only thing that would mess that up would be the SECCG.

I started worrying about the SECCG as soon as I saw Georgia was going to lose, it's basically all risk. You play an extra game, which has lead to serious injuries in the past, and at best you play the same number of games, at worse you get knocked out of the playoff.

I know you are making an assumption. But UGA and Tenn haven't played yet. If you don't play in the SECCG you get your buy that weekend.

Right I’m just showing an example of how messy it can get if UGA wins.

Optimally I’d like to either make the Top 8 with a Home 1st round game or Win the SECCG to make the Top 4

But it’s also possible to finish 9th or lower and have to play a Rd game in the 1st Round or Make the SECCG and lose and get knocked out.

The whole picture is wide open and we can only control winning our next 3 games.

It gets even worse if aTm beats Texas. It is possible for Alabama to get left out of everything if there are 6 SEC teams tied with 10-2 records. Not likely, but possible.

This is great for fans of other teams. Heck, even great for Alabama as the Tide would have been out of it weeks ago using last year's playoff format. But still lots of work to do.

I'm sooooo proud of this team & especially our coaching staff, I love our attacking style "Swarm Defense" under Coach Wommack, once our players figured it out & understood it's concept, we're a better Defense as our players learned it..

Combine that with a HC & OC that isn't afraid to use Milroe's legs as an offensive weapons, this is as good as any team in the country & just as good as any team we've had at Bama when this offense is clicking on all cylinders..

No matter that it was raining in Baton Rouge last night, it was messy no doubting that for The Swamp Kittens, but, our players adapted & literally mudd stomped them in their own stadium..

That was freaking impressive no matter who you're a football fan of!!!!

Ifffffff & this is a big if..If we don't let our feet off the gas & we keep our play calling aggressive like these past 2 games..

We will win another NC this year..Because right now we're playing like the absolute best team in the country..

It's been a wild ride in this transition year & I'm veryyyyy thankful for our coaching staff cause they're good..
