Very well said. And we spent a large portion of the first half today trying to do the Jalen run show only to have it stuffed every time. Time to move on.
How many of those plays were called and how many of those were Milroe trying to play hero ball as usual?

We'll never know.....but I bet the majority were Milroe calling his own number.

I have nothing to say about CKD’s job security. It’s year one and he walked into a mess of a situation.

But this team has underachieved more than any team I can remember. Frankly you have to go back to 2000 to get anything close to this.

Neither of fRAN’s teams underachieved. None of Shula’s teams really underachieved relative to the true talent levels they had. The 2010 team is always mentioned in these discussions but that team was so plagued by constant injuries to key players all year.

So we are left with the 2000 team, ranked #3 in the preseason and it imploded to a 3-8 finish. At 8-3, for the talent of this year’s team, we might as well be 3-8.

This is disappointing for sure, but it really hasn't changed my opinion much of the future. We already knew QB play was going to be an obstacle to winning a national championship. I'd hoped to at least make it to the dance, but it didn't fall out way this time. We have arguably the best high school player in the country coming in with Keelon Russell, and a very good recruiting class coming with him. Last week, everyone was praising DeBoer and saying how great this coaching staff is, and now people are wanting to fire them all. But the thing is, DeBoer is still the same coach he was yesterday, and so are Wommack, Sheridan, and the rest. Nothing has really changed. Tonight, we saw the team done in by what many of us thought was the achilles heel of this team, and that's really all there is to it. DeBoer will right the ship. He just has some work to do in the off-season, but I still fully believe that Kalen DeBoer is the right man for this job.

And what about quick passes. I have Jalen actually complete those, (Georgia game), and have success, ie get the ball to the playmakers and let them make plays. Seems like that was mostly abandoned since then.

JM really isn't good at the quick game. UGA was an exception to the rule. He just doesn't set quickly enough and does not have anticipation to do it; never has and it's the worst part of his game. Major liability.

This Alabama team could easily have lost to USCe and GA and be sitting at 6-5 right now. This is not a good football team. Just beat Auburn.

I won't watch another game as long as Milroe is the QB. Never would have fathomed a player with such glaring deficiencies could put a strangehold on one of the most storied programs in CFB. Just so utterly frustrating..
I'm with you. As much as I love Crimson Tide football, I will not watch them next season if Milroe is the QB. Enough is enough. I have been saying all season that Milroe can't see the field. I just hope he is attractive enough for the NFL to draft him, maybe as a running back.

Everyone is blaming Milroe (mostly), but what is he supposed to do when half the opposing team is in his ear within 0.00571 seconds of snapping the ball? Where's the offensive line? Do we even have one?

That's the biggest thing that needs to be corrected.
pass rush didn’t become a costly issue until we were forced to throw because of the score. They run-blocked well for the RBs.

Neither 3rd Qtr pick had anything to do with pressure. Both times, the DBs knew it was coming and made the play. When your offense is limited the types of plays it can run and your QB runs plays instead of making reads, a well-coached D can prey on it

and even if the OL gets beat, good QBs figure it out. That’s why you sign up to be QB1. And somehow he’s a mobile QB who doesn’t make Ds pay for over pursuing…
